Top tier snark? No, again did not say that.

Very unprofessional? Yes.

For the record my intention here is not to complain, there’s no one here that can do anything so that would be a waste of time for all. My intention was simply to share the facts of the experience I had with a team of people who should be a lot more professional with customers who have done a lot for Fords bottom line. And to hopefully save anyone else from having to interact with them unnecessarily. If you don’t find that valuable then I apologize and we can move on.
Thanks for reminding me. I had totally forgotten about it. Mine is due in July and I have heard nothing. Of course if musk is involved I wouldn’t expect anything to happen until it happens. He changes his mind every 30 seconds. It’s a free gift that I never expected to get. Keep complaining and they will think twice about giving you a $300 gift in the future.

For an interesting other perspective, I just watched @Mach-E VLOG 's review of the new A2Z adapter, and I must say that adapter seems significantly better designed than the Tesla / Ford adapter.

This is to say, maybe the powers that be are doing you a favor by delaying the Tesla built adapter.

The new A2Z is definitely our favorite design even though it isn't officially supported. I'm hoping that once they get UL certified, they will get official support and maybe Ford, Rivian, and others will just have them manufacture the adapters. Of course, Ford may have a contract that forbids that, but I don't know.

(From what I understand UL 2252 testing procedures haven't been finalized so none of the adapters including the official one are certified yet.)

I have reread the ops post and the response a handful of times, and I am so confused.
1. What's wrong with the response?
2. Why have you called them and email so many times. I don't think anyone knows the true status of the adapters. Does asking the same question over and over make you think you'll eventually get a different answer? Eventually it will show up.
3. Life is too short to stress about stuff like this, buy an aftermarket one and move on.
4. Read the responses from fellow members here. This is a great group of people, and if the majority of people's views don't align with yours, maybe take a step back and ask yourself why versus trying to get in a keyboard war with everyone.

That's the thing, that response wasn't unprofessional. When everyone here asked what the issue was, then OP brought up "over 10 emails and 3 phone calls". So the unprofessionalism is in content he hasn't shared and we are to just go with I guess.

I have worked in tech support for quite a while, if I had ten emails and three phone calls over an issue dealing with a 3rd party vendor I have no control over, I may start to get a bit unprofessional as well. Much like yelling at the kid at the box office for the cost of your movie ticket, these support people aren't making the adapters and don't even work for the company making the adapters. If they had news to share they would share it, phone calls and emails every week isn't going to change things.

As a counter-point, I contacted the "Tesla adapter team" (it's just the Ford Accessories department) to change my mailing address since I moved across country since I made the reservation. They were quick and professional, very kind, and even followed up to confirm when the address change was applied to the database a few days later. They weren't able to give me any exact updates except to say that based on my VIN it was _at least_ 3 weeks away from shipping.

I can't imagine why I would want to waste time on 10 emails and 3 phone calls over something a.) Free, b.) unexpected, c.) that there are aftermarket alternatives for, and d.) something the people answering the phone in the Accessories department clearly have no direct control over. It's not going to get you your adapter any faster.

Imagine all the additional time you now/will waste(d) by nuking your previous posts (yet still replying to the thread with your "apology").

I just clicked in here and can only piece together things because you thought it better to delete than to simply defend yourself or admit you might have had a bit of an overreaction to this whole adapter cluster F.

In any case, thanks for wasting my time. ;)

Given that your accounting of your experience is totally absent from here, it's hard to tell what the purpose of this posting is for.

Yes I’ve removed it because it was unwelcome. As it stands it serves no purpose. Hence the apology. Sorry for wasting your time.

I was at a gas turbine users conference a few years back and one of the companies that had a booth at the exhibit hall was a Canadian company. They had a cooler full of Mooseheads they were passing out to people that stopped by. I knew a couple of the guys at the booth (having previously purchased their product) and hung out with them for a while drinking Moosehead and having a good time.

I know this is completely off topic, but I wanted to see what it would be like to respond to a post with absolutely no useful information regarding the topic of the post, like a lot of people on here do.

I have to say, it left me feeling a little hollow inside, but remembering the fun i had with those crazy Canadians kind of helps soothe the emptiness.

It was 1990. I was on a business trip to Toronto. In the US at that time we only got crappy watered down import beer. But on that fateful trip I was able to taste the wonder that Molson Golden was in its full alcoholic glory.

It sounds a lot like the response to it was unwelcomed by you personally. Others may have had a different opinion on its usefulness, but sadly, we are now unable to determine for ourselves.

That message is emblematic of the least professional group of individuals you've ever interacted with?

I envy you!
Clearly, the OP has never dealt with my HOA and their “management company” ???
