My MME delivery keeps getting delayed

My Premium ordered on April 4th was built on October 15, shipped on October 20 to Southern California. I was given an expected delivery of 11/23 - 11/28, then 11/28 - 12/4. Still no word on 12/7. Is this delay normal? The dealer is no help, saying that the car carriers arrive whenever with whatever is on there. I keep thinking it got damaged…or worse! How did you actual delivery date correspond to Ford’s estimate? (The real joke is that the dealer said it would take 8 to 12 weeks from my initial order)

When you placed your original order, online Ford clearly had 20 - 28 week waiting periods shown. Then the chip shortage got worse.

Yes, they are having delays with trucks, truck driver shortage, etc.

Yeah, totally normal. I'm looking for a GT PE and dealers can't even give ETAs anymore. They're just hoping they come in the next 3 to 4 weeks. They try and track them and all it says is in transit apparently.
