I‘m assuming it’s because of the increased percentage requirement of critical minerals in the battery having to come from the US or foreign trade partners. It goes up another 10% every year.

Do we know if the 2023 will still qualify if put into service in 2024? I have a 2023 in production right now and it would suck if I lost $3750 because it didn't get here before 12/31.

It won’t. The date the car is put in service is the only date that matters.

Date of delivery is what counts - I know it sucks because my order took 14 months, missing out on the full $7500 tax credit in 2022.

Well I guess I should consider myself lucky that I am going to be able to get half tax credit on my '23 that I ordered in April 2022 and took delivery in June 2023....

Ah the good old days - at least I did get the $7500 on my '22 Lightning so that was nice....

You might need a plan B: find another Mach-E and buy it before January 1st. Remember the older stock have 3 years of BlueCruise and don't charge for the EVSE but a higher MSRP. But they also have a hidden dealer incentive, up to $3000. Compare the deal that's on the lot with whatever you ordered if it comes before January 1st.

I am looking forward to seeing what these new bronze wheels look like. If they have a 20" bronze wheel I'd definitely be interested in getting those for my 21' prem. Anybody got some spy shots of these wheels? waiting for the part number patiently.

Not particularly interested... Hope it come to canada... This could be a key component in Quebec / Canada to get provincial 7K et federal 5K EV incentive.

Ford lineup was not properly structured and did not allow extended range to get both discount.
