I had that today too. I got 2.3.0 2 weeks ago and my software update screen still shows 2.1.0. I know that last part is normal.

I saw this same 'update' icon in my car last week. I checked the OTA section of PTS and there was no update sent, only my two failed attempts at 2.3.0 (last failure was almost 2 weeks prior).

I chalked it up to a server glitch or an artifact of my failed update.

I have 2.3.0, a full install including the TCU update that was part of it. Says 2.3.0 in my car, had the release notes in Ford Pass. I also go this update today with no release notes!

I don’t think there actually was an update, I think the cloud just pushed the info from your last update and then system saw it as a new message.

The reason I say that is, after I got 2.3.0 I saw the releases notes and a bunch of other info in the OTA data that is hidden on fords website. Then about a week ago that data changed to remove the release notes and display less info. Now, all that info is back. So I think this was just a backend thing Ford did, nothing changed on our cars.

I received a "mystery update" icon yesterday after my 2.3.0 install. When I touched it, it said 2.1.0, but I had already received 2.1.0 on Jan 6.

However, after my Jan 6 2.1.0 install, I never received an in-car notification, just a FordPass notification. I wonder if the in-car notification system was stuck and finally pushed out an old notification?

Exactly the same sequence for me. I got the symbol again, too. I bet Ford is pushing out itty bitty updates without version numbers to get ready for the big BC push.

I don’t think it’s an update, I think it was just a server change on the backend that triggered the notification.

Clear as mud again. I'm on 1.7.1 and found the update icon on my screen today. I checked my system update info and it's 1.7.1....

I have no clue what's up.
