Job 1 car (Late Dec 2020) - just took car in for glass recalls and whatever software updates were outstanding. Surprised with 2nd FOB! PAAK always worked well for me, but what the hell, free dummy (ref. for you Jack Handy fans). Still no FRUNK access.

Went to my local dealership around 4:30pm today. Told the service writer I wasn't dropping off my car, but wanted to get things moving on a Customer Service Program.

Unnecessary context: I had purchased an aftermarket fob from a site that was recommended somewhere on this forum. This same dealership programmed the fob for me. Anyway...back to today's story...lol

I told the service writer it was 22B10 and he looked it up. I then told him I wanted to see what they needed to get the part ordered under the CSP. He went to the parts department for a few minutes, then came back and said the part will be there on Thursday. He then said he'd call me to confirm it was in and that he hadn't done one yet

Has anyone in the SoCal area successfully got the 2nd key fob or reimbursement? I am getting the run around from the Autonation dealership. They are saying it needs to be done via corporate and not thru the dealership. Promises of getting back to me just ends in silence. Call them back and have to start from scratch with a new person since my previous conversations are not in the system.

Mine also disappeared from FordPass, but when the dealer looked in Oasis, it was there. Getting my fob next week.

Go to a different dealer. There are so many in SoCal, AutoNation is a struggle, at least always has been for me.

Tell them to read the CSP. Read it to them aloud if they don't know how to read.

Did you ever get your second FOB? My build date is close to yours and wondering if they provided you one?

I received today the second key FOB. It's like the first, with the silver Pony. The Frunk button is not activated yet.

You got me excited for a second, but then I saw that you're in Europe. If you can convince your dealer (or know somebody with FDRS), an update of the BCM and GFM will make the frunk button work.

I heard that someone in the US got the second key FOB too and some with the black Pony. I have fixed an update at the dealer next Friday, I hope the frunk control will be activated.

Yeah, the second fob with the black pony has been happening in the US. But the only way we’ve been able to get a frunk button is by buying an F-150 Lightning fob.
