New Delays?

I ordered my Premium AWD Extended in February, I've been tracking it using the tracker since I got my VIN, it has a Production Date of 6/18/21 and up until yesterday it had an ETA End Date of 8/7/21.
But today that changed on the tracker to 10/31/21.
I'm totally ok with the fact this means it may be nearly 9 months between order and delivery, I'm just curious why the slip, still silicon chip shortages maybe?

Update: The 10/31 has now changed to 9/10 so looking promising ?

Mine also has been fully built now and is being shipped, ETA jumped from early November to 9/3

Yup expected, Ford pushes it way out and then pulls it back in. Congrats and welcome to the club.

Mine showed it arrived in KC on July 7th according to Pals app but hasn't moved unless i need to track it some other way. 16 days sitting in KC I wonder why?

Ask your dealer for a Vehicle Visibility Report.

Mine arrived in KC on 6/22 and then sat forever. It did not arrive in Avon Lake, OH until 7/15-ish. Then it sat for 5 days before making the short trip (30 miles) to the dealer on 7/20. Pure torture since the Avon Lake depot is about 5 minutes from my house (yes I drove by and saw it loaded on the truck)! Finally brought it home last night. Totally worth the wait!!!

Ford delivery date went from 7/7 to 8/11 beginning of July.

LOL this reminds me of one time I ordered a computer part (I think it might've been a new video card) and it got to the FedEx distribution on Friday afternoon. The distribution center that's like 15 minutes from my house. I wasn't allowed to go get it though because they had to attempt delivery at least one time on Monday before I'm allowed to go get it myself. Literally the stupidest bs I had heard before. Must've been pretty painful looking at your car right next to your house and not being allowed to get it from them.
