Nope. I had a build week of 6/27 and it still doesn't show anything in the official order tracking either as to being built. The only way I knew of my late August delivery -- which has now been pushed to 10/31 -- was by using the tracker here on the website. Ford has sent no emails saying it's been built, there's no change in the status, and it's already seeing a delay being posted about a week after it was assigned a shipping date in the first place.

Totally bizarre.
The Ford website will show the car as "produced" (or built) only when it actually is shipped. Until then it's built but waiting (I guess). :)

Hopefully, the Haloween delivery is just an extremely conservative revision as has been the case in the past.

I am optimistic that'll turn out to be the case. However, even if it does, the fact that no one on the forum (as far as I know) has had their Mach-E leave the factory since before 6/27 is definitely not a good thing. That's two weeks of no-progress.

MY Premium AWD ER, ordered 1/22 has a build date of 6/15 and had an Aug 4 ETA. It now also has the new ETA of 10/31. VERY frustrating.

well I think we deserve to know why, and what's the hold up Ford? They are on this forum.

I ordered my Premium AWD Extended in February, I've been tracking it using the tracker since I got my VIN, it has a Production Date of 6/18/21 and up until yesterday it had an ETA End Date of 8/7/21.
But today that changed on the tracker to 10/31/21.
I'm totally ok with the fact this means it may be nearly 9 months between order and delivery, I'm just curious why the slip, still silicon chip shortages maybe?
I had a build week the same as you. I have not gotten any emails from Ford themselves, but did contact the dealership and I was able to get my window sticker.
My car is built just waiting for a chip.
I tracked it and I have the same eta of 10/31. It seems a little crazy that if the car is built it would take 3+ months.
I was originally told mid to end of August

Like many of you, I have the 10/31 date. My sales guy looked into it on Saturday and called me right after.

The 10/31 date is a generic date Ford picked for everyone impacted by the chip shortage. My car is built and just waiting for the chip and will be shipped immediately after. My original 08/02 delivery date was not going to happen, so they just put me on the 10/31 date like everyone else.

He did not have a timeline for the chip to show up and be installed, but his GM thinks it's just a matter of a week or two.

This is going to be interesting to watch.

I know of several GTs and even one non-GT built last week (week of 7/4) that still have August ETAs. However, none have left the factory yet.

By contrast, I also see that two non-GTs (GTs didn't start until the following week) built just the week prior (week of 6/27) now have Halloween ETAs.

I feel like something has to give with these 7/4 builds sometime in the next few days - either they will be officially delayed or they will ship out. Another week of silence would be torturous.

So if the chip shortage affects the normal ME's, then I would assume GT's as well? I hope it clears up sooner than later like it did for the Ford trucks parked recently.

It actually doesn't sound like it is a chip shortage based on what others who sound like they are in the know are saying. However, even if it were a chip shortage, they could theoretically redirect whatever limited supply of parts from were available from other Mach-Es to GTs.

As someone pointed out, many GTs were reserved in 2019 or 2020 - long before some of the non-GTs being produced now were. So, it would not be surprising if some of those earlier orders were being prioritized. That would apply not just in a parts shortage situation, but in general since even with no issue at play plant capacity is nevertheless a limited resource.

That’s what I am worried about!
I had a in production date of 6/12 with estimated delivery of July 17th which has now slipped to November 2nd… I really don’t want to pay full price for a year old model 2021 when there are new revised 2022s that could have been running around for a few months already (assuming the 2022 version comes here soon).

I'm not sure if this has been said before, but I wonder if these holds and delays are also what's keeping people like myself from even getting the build date email.

As an aside, all of these waiting on chips the good news is they're built. So once the chips come in it's not like you need to wait for the entire assembly process, it'll just be install the chip, setup the operating software, etc., and then ship it out.

I seriously doubt Ford will have changed a single thing for 2022. They're struggling with parts and bugs so bad right now it probably won't be until late 2023 or early 2024 before you see any significant changes.

The only thing I can think of that might change is ordering options. Like maybe magneride suspension upgrades for Premiums and regular GT's, that sort of thing.
