Automatic high beams - I have not driven much at night since getting my ‘22 Select but left the house this morning at 4am. To my surprise, the high beams came on immediately. They did a great job of illuminating the road and sides of the road. They also turn off and back on with more of a dimming effect vs. a hard on or off. It was a pleasant driving experience this morning. Nice job, Ford!

Yeah, I like this feature as well, I've never really had an issue with it. I know some people dislike them.

I like the auto highbeams as well. Otherwise I wouldn't manually toggle it lol.

Feature I recently like - I like tapping the turn signal lever up or down for the turn signal to flash three times. I use it when I change lanes. And in turns and stop sign like turns.

It takes practice though

Because it needs a harder detent before it goes full “on.”

With my auto high beams, it tends to be overly sensitive and turn off from street sign reflections and stop lights. That mixed in with the fact you have to be going a minimum speed (25 or 30mph I believe?) for it to even work is annoying so I just use manual high beams.

I switch back and forth. It sometimes is sensitive to some lights and reflections and for some reason doesn't like the pickup truck vertical tail lights and don't shut off

EU model with matrix lights means they will only dim down the area in which the other car is. Really enjoyable and safe as other parts of the road is still illuminated even if I meet other cars.
Love the lights.

It was annoying and one of the first things I turned off. It actually turned them on in residential areas which is illegal in some states.

Aside: There's nothing new about auto high beams, my dad had them in his 1956 Cadillac.

This is why ANY feature that an auto company adds never satisfies everyone...

I will just say that I love the MME headlights in general. Better visibility than any other vehicle I have driven. (It is my first time with LED headlights)

!
Do the EU models have matrix?!? Picking up mine next week but I assumed it was the same as the US headlights.
Will be very happy if the car has them.

Like the auto wipers also. No constant adjusting them as the rain intensity changes.

And adaptive cruise come up behind a slower vehicle and it slows right down. Makes for a bit less stress when you get behind someone that constantly varies speed.

It is my first with a thermostat and I do not have to constantly adjust the heat as the sun drops.

Lot of nice perks on this vehicle.

They worked awesomely in my 1969 Cadillac, as well or better than the auto beams in my MME. ??
