Took a drive this evening and noticed a notification for an “inhibit update” at 2am. Any idea what this update is?

I got 3.5.4 the other day so I’m not sure what this update is for. Thanks for any insight!

I drive a 2022 Select eAWD. I’m in the Early Access program.

Bit of an anticlimax as this update has been rolling out for a while now. It fixes compatibility issues at some EVgo fast chargers.

I can confirm that it is indeed the charging module update.

BUT when I went out to my car, I got a prompt for ANOTHER update, which according to my app is a PAAK connectivity update.

I hadn’t received an “inhibit update” since I bought the car in May, let alone 2 in one evening.

Wow this is a fascinating one. You have a '22 vehicle but this 21B36 is from June 2021, was only for a subset '21 model year Job 1 vehicles, was a technician-only update (until now), and the program was due to expire out of CSP status on June 30, 2022.

Very interesting! These updates never make sense but I wonder if it’s a precondition to get our cars ready for upcoming updates? No idea. I’m not sure Ford has an idea either lol.

PAAK OTA update finally!!! ??? This OTA has been delayed for more than a year!

21B36 was the old PAAK CSP from last year, I guess they decided to keep the name for the OTA even though it's expired:

I was in the same position until Monday (Job 2 Nov 21 build).

Not sure that it was related, but I took the car in on Monday to have them look at an annoying repetitive "Electrical System Drain" notification. I got the car back with the less than helpful "we didn't find anything, but we cleared a code from six months ago".

Before I got out of the dealers the lot 22-PU0727-VI-FXB dropped, and the next day 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB dropped and 3.5.2 just dropped overnight.

Coincidence is not causation, but it makes one wonder.

Let’s hope! I haven’t run my VIN in a while to see if there are any new updates available.
