For my ‘24 MME 4X Premium there’s a new recall when I login to the Ford Canada’s owner site “My Account” (but not in the Ford Pass app which says all is good, weird these two are out of sync).

Powertrain control module and secondary on-board diagnostic control module c software update.

Description: Powertrain control module and secondary on-board diagnostic control module c software update
Campaign # 25S65”

Which it claims requires a dealer visit to address. however, it also says “No CSP”. Not sure what CSP means.

Hi, I think you found the ACTUAL issue for the 12V battery recall. It would appear your car (and mine too, I checked) need actual hardware changes in the door locks to fix the recall. So as it says, around Q3 said hardware should be available and then this can be resolved.

Customer Satisfaction Program. You have none.

No, it is software.

I received the software update already which is why I was surprised to see this. Also, the fact the Ford Pass App and my ford.ca My Account aren’t aligned.
Regardless I reached out to the dealer and I’ve a service appointment for Tuesday July 15th to have it addressed.
I’ll post an update afterwards.

There have been a number of 12v related OTA updates - to keep the car from waking and draining the 12v, to change the 12v recharge threshold, etc. But there is no fix for the door lock issue yet.

In your online Ford account under My Shortcuts/Vehicle Health, does it have the following message:

Be aware: Your Mustang Mach-E has an alert.
Last health check update: 10:34 AM on 7/9/2025.
Your vehicle has an high alert. Book an appointment or take it to the Ford dealer immediately.

I have no alerts shown in FordPass or in my '22 GT, just the same recall that you reference here. I asked the BEV assistance team at Ford if the Vehicle Health alert is related to the recall, but the agent said she didn't know what the alert was for and just told me to take it to the dealer. Not helpful. My current plan is to wait and take the car to the dealer when the recall remedy is available.

I am just trying to determine if others with the recall are seeing the Vehicle Health alert as well.

I haven’t received anything as urgent as you’re describing. Just an alert for the recall being incomplete. I’m assuming the OTA didn’t completely work or there’s another portion which the dealer needs to install. The dealer took the appointment for this Tuesday and knows the concern. It’s still weird that the Ford My Account website shows the concern but the Ford App shows everything as perfect health.

Wow, your recall sounds far more serious.

Be aware that Ford has notified dealers that the current software update is only for 2025 MMEs. Their notice to dealers specifically says to not schedule 2021-2024 MMEs for this recall until further notice. ??

I have a 2025 Premium Mach-e and received this notice in the mail yesterday. I called my Ford dealer and they said that they were not able to perform the update as they had not received the software (even though my letter from Ford stated that the dealers have been instructed to do the software update).

The dealer also said that this is my “first” notice and I should wait for a second notice telling me when the update would be available.

I am a little peeved because my letter definitively states that the dealers should be able to provide the update now. Anyone else have any issues?

Politely ask them to read the recall and/or directly read the relevant information about how the update is currently available for 2025.

Or call a different dealer.

I noticed the recall in the Ford pass app on Tuesday so that evening I emailed my contact at the dealer. He arranged for my car to be picked up the next morning and the recall was done that day. I'm fortunate that my dealer is pretty well versed with the Mach E.

What exact logic are in these refinement?

The one that you can no longer refresh the status of the vehicle in the app was a big one. Leaving it alone and letting it sit and sleep helps.

Mine had the recalls on it but now has this
