On my Mach-E GT I added aftermarket 22" wheels and tires. My range went from 334 to 224 (as expected), but when I'm at like 169 or 193 it says battery is 98%. My question is do I go by the Range or battery life or estimated range? Thanks for your help.

You have multiple issues.

First, you added wheels/tires that are different in circumference than the original ones. Since that's not been adjusted for in the car's systems, it can't accurately tell you anything - speed, distance, efficiency projections, etc. The first step is to put your info into a calculator (many on the web) so you know what adjustment you need to make when you look at speed, distance, etc.

Second, as the weather cools, the car's GOM (Guess-O-Meter) will react, aggressively, to predict range. You should instead initially rely up on the miles per kw, ADJUSTED as above, and then do the math.

Lastly, at home, you shouldn't charge above 90% unless you're departing the next day on a trip.

Ok so don't charge above 90%? May I ask why?

Because that's what the manual tells you.

To prolong battery life, you don't want to charge to 100% regularly. Many threads discuss this.

There's a bunch of posts on the subject. In short, it's to preserve battery life. You might want to read the "Charging Your Vehicle" section of your owner's manual.

That’s what the manual suggests to preserve the battery.
@Redblacknation21, don't worry man. I didn't read the manual either.

Just charge it daily to 70, 80, or 90%(max, if you have a long commute) and then forget about it. Only go to 100% if you plan on road tripping right away.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Seems I committed a sin or something lol

A sin? No.

But I bet when you buy a new gizmo/power tool that costs a fraction of this vehicle, you flip through that manual. It always amazes me how many people buy $50, $60, $70,000 vehicles and never read the manual.

You can download a PDF of it to your devices also.

Did you know that there is a procedure to get it out of park if it dies? Apparently tow truck drivers don't know that, and can drag it onto the platform. It's... in the manual.

Not to mention Ford has a publicly available wrecker guide that tells you how to winch the car (and all Fords) onto a flatbed and how they're allowed to be towed...Yet you have a tow truck driver destroying a battery pack because he didn't take 2 seconds to check.

You need to collect data over time of energy usage. I use miles per K watt. Once you know that you can estimate your range from your state of charge. The GOM is easily tricked. My bet is you are somewhere around 2.5miles per Kwatt to maybe 3miles per Kwatt.
