Itā€™s doubtful the next generation Mustang will be an EV, but at some point all new cars will need to not be ICE, so before 2035 we will likely see a Mustang coupe EV. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ©

I donā€™t think itā€™s a new EV Mustang, pretty sure I read that they werenā€™t interested in doing a traditional Mustang as EV
The whole announcement is about their investment in EV technologies.. so I would think this 'yet to be revealed Mustang' is another styling on EV -- may be a sports variety, and not a cross-over?

Yet to be publicly revealed is the seventh generation 2024 Mustang. That's what I think the article is referring to.

Probably just a plain-old gas powered Mustang with new styling.

Its just the next update to the ICE Mustang coupe. Its been fairly heavily leaked and discussed on car news sites.

Gen 7 ICE Mustang. The announcement shows a 6-speed manual in the "O" in "Announcement". Ecoboost / Coyote to start, with perhaps a hybrid to follow.
