R2 if it ever comes to market. The next year or two will make or break Rivian. I’m rooting for them to make it.

We want something we can tow so...no EV on the market today is flat towable (certain FWD ones--e.g. Bolt--are dolly towable, had one).

Thus the next vehicle after the Mach-E is very likely to be an Escape PHEV. If they made a FWD BEV Maverick it would be that, or if they brought over the new PHEV Ranger from overseas it'd likely be that (if it also was flat towable).

Whatever we get next will still have a plug, however.

How about an option for “an EV with next generation battery tech”? I’m not buying another EV with the same limitations.

I don’t care if that is a Ford or Tesla or anything else. I’ll buy whatever is the best value proposition for my desires, as the MME was back in 2021.

Now I’ll hold onto this until a new battery comes along that improves range (especially in winter) and much faster charging.

I voted another EV. I probably want a Taycan Cross Turismo. But I'm also very interested in these PHEV's that can go 40-50 miles on a charge. That would get me to work and back daily on electricity and then road trips (or possibly towing) could be done with gas. Very appealing to me.

I clicked on the "Not Sure Yet". I am a year in with my GT however I am severely under water now because of the recent price drops. On the other hand, I bought the 8-year extended warranty that covers everything, and I mean everything, except tires. Soo I'm in for 8 years of trouble-free fun driving and that is exactly the way I wanted it. I don't think anybody know what EV's will look like in 3-4 years let alone 8. By then I will also be retired so new car ownership desires will be replaced with decent transportation is good enough and more traveling to live life.

Mach E - mid size SUV - longer 3 row style would be my next choice.

Newest battery tech like solid state batteries ?

Home charger tech for faster charges.

So far loving my Mach E - best most reliable new vehicle I have ever owned.

We’ve had 3 Teslas and 3 Mach-E. Bottom line for us: Love the Mach-E but software sucks. . .

Love my 2021 Premium AWD. But we put a reservation deposit down on a Rivian R2 already—just in case! That will be a long 2-plus year wait.

Yeah, the top two trims only have 6 seats. I wished the 6 seats were optional.
It‘s frustrating because other countries get the EV9 with 7 seats in the upper trims. There are a lot of reviews from Europe with that config, and the outboard seats of the second row bench even keep the heating and ventilation found in the captains seats. Not sure why Kia thinks that people willing to spend more money on the upper trims in the US also want to carry less people.
