Given I’m no expert since I’ve never done road trips in the Mach E, but from what I understand about the math and charging on the road it’s like this:Well I don’t stop every 2 hours, I stop every 4+. And I can eat a lunch at noon and a dinner at 4-5 without them being 2k calories each.
So me, I do.
Your 6 hour drive would be 1 charge stop around 20 min…assuming we are even talking 3 hours interstate driving kudos to you for not needing to pee at all. But it’s not a big deal.
I made a 533 mile 8.5 hour drive the other day off a single stop…some you seem to have a bigger problem with a lead foot than time needed to charge.
You charge 20-80% when road tripping. That’s only 60% of your total range each charge. Driving 75 mph or so that’s 150 miles of range in the summer (2 hours) and even less in the winter.
How do you go 4+ hours?
You’re right I probably could have gotten away with one charge in the trip today if I took the Mach E. But after a full day of meetings and driving I’m very glad I took the Lincoln.
