*First post - thanks to everyone who posts all of the helpful information.*
I went to my local Ford dealer in April to get a new Escape or Bronco Sport as my 2018 Escape lease was expiring. I drove the Mach-E on a whim, never experienced anything like it, and ordered it on the spot. Having not been familiar with the ordering system, I never signed up online for a reservation, just filled out a form at the dealer. (I also didn't know about the loooong, confusing wait time)
Since I ordered at the dealer, I don't have the reservation listed in my Ford Owner account. I have a 4-digit order number [10**], from a "Order placed. Thrills ahead." email I got a week after the dealer submitted my order. The dealer salesman doesn't have any updates (not his fault) and Ford can't track my order. I go to this forum to try to guesstimate when I'll get my vehicle delivered.
Did I make a (unknowing) mistake by ordering via the dealer and not the online reservation process?
(Ordered April 5, no updates as of May 30)
