I just received a notice about this. I already had BlueCruise installed at my dealer during the glass recall and to unstuck 1.7.1. I don't really see anything here that seems new, so not sure why this is going out. It's also frustrating when there aren't actual version numbers to reference. Anyone else seeing this one?

If your Ford Mustang Mach-E™ is equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 Prep Package, your Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving feature has now been delivered. This completes what we call Product Improvement Program 21G01. There is nothing you need to do except enjoy the update.​

Ford BlueCruise allows you to drive hands-free on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones. You’ll know BlueCruise is active when your instrument lighting turns blue and the words “Hands-Free” appear with a steering wheel graphic. At that point, you can remove your hands from the steering wheel. Of course, you are still expected to keep your eyes on the road, and you'll be monitored by the driver-facing camera. Remember, your FordPass™ Connect modem must be connected for BlueCruise to work. See your Owner’s Manual for details.​

If you purchased the Mustang Mach-E Select but did not purchase the Comfort/Technology Package, then your vehicle does not have the hardware necessary to support BlueCruise. However, this update still prepares your vehicle for future upgrades.​

Note: You may have already received some of this functionality in a prior update, but this version has been fine-tuned and includes additional tweaks to other features.​

Yup, it just popped up on mine, I am in EA. My 21 Select Job 2 came with BlueCruise. Taking a 2hr road trip tonight, so will see if I notice a difference.

Non-EAP 2021 Job 1 (Premium ER AWD January 2021 build). 21G01 was completed at a dealer on 16 June 2022. BlueCruise has worked fine since then, but Etis still shows 21G01 as an outstanding FSA for my VIN. Etis also shows 22S41, which I got OTA on 3 August.

Wonder what's fine-tuned in this update?

Ford got this one out fast, this is a GWM update that updates the BlueCruise map data. Maps were set to expire on Sept 10th so this is going out high-priority. Expiration date should be Dec 10th after the update (10-12-2022).

I just looked on the Ford website JSON out of curiosity, and I'm queued up for this as well. Interesting - 2021 Job 1, not EA, and I did my own Bluecruise via FDRS.

This is a special situation for cars that haven't updated due to some issue. Normally yes.

The map updates should be more frequent, like every month or more to reflect changing road conditions. The MobilEye hardware has the capability of sending and receiving data from the cloud daily, this just hasn't been implemented to anywhere close to its full capability. In theory if a lane shifts due to construction and enough MobilEye-equipped cars drive through it, the map data and lane guidance could be updated the next day so your lane centering would work well through it.

Yeah they just recycled the release notes rather than writing new notes. Ford has a problem with seriously inaccurate release notes.

This update made a HUGE difference for my car. BCHF actually remains engaged for the entire length of highway where you would expect it to work. No more hunting for the right side of the lane when it engages. Tracks smooth and steady. Engages immediately after a lane change. I even forgot a few times that it was driving itself.

This was a major improvement or my car. ?
