I got it last night. Job 1 (i think) non EA. What's the cutoff for job 1 vs job 2?

Early July. If you can open your Frunk (remotely), you’re job 2.

On the one hand, this is a major pet peeve of mine. But in Ford's defense - bad release notes are pretty much a software industry standard now

Weird… the widget shows I got it yesterday, but the hot mess that is FordPass doesn’t Show anything since the HVBJB update on July 11th.

What about Sync? Are you getting the update notification in-vehicle?

Where do you see these update notifications? Through FordPass app or in the car's screen?

Yes, both.
In the car there will be a check mark icon in the upper left and in the app a banner will appear with a green check mark.

To be fair though, those only show up after it's installed (unless it's an update the you can't drive the car while it's installing). The forum widget tells you when you're queued up to start receiving it which is how I first found out about it...

Just did a nice 2 hr drive after this update, BC was super smooth, although may have been like this prior, either way my wife could not tell who was driving, the car or me.

I feel like my BC OTA install I got a month or so ago already has these features, no ping-ponging, not annoying about alerts, really smooth. Haven't had this one show up yet, so maybe I already have it

My Job 2 09/21 build GT got this yesterday. I haven't had a chance to play with it but seems this updates existing Bluecruise as some others previously mentioned. Will have to see if I notice anything new.

No. I took the car into the dealer 6 times for various defects after I got it. We have since had a baby, so no more time to screw around with dealers.

My wife knows when the car is driving as she says its smoother. Apparently the car is less aggressive!
