OTA update 5.1.1 many issues: frunk opens when unlocking doors

Yeah I’m having the connected services not loading issue. Also it seems to not want to search and find available WiFi networks.

Nothing that requires connected services in FordPass is functional either. So that’s fun.

It's times like these that I just leave her alone for a half a day and then things seem to magically work again.... she's a bit quirky...

Yeah like I said earlier it is likely a server side thing going on with a small percentage of impacted users. Just have to wait it out and see. The Wifi issue is an odd one though, that shouldn't be impacted but will see. 24 hours and counting now.

I've been having connected services issues since Thursday afternoon my time. Came back for a bit today but was not waking again a bit ago. Mine occurred when the car attempted to download (and possibly install) 6.1. Correlation does not equal causation.

Yeah im suspecting some server side stuff going on. Will see what happens Monday.

UPDATE: Just like that it's back. Wonder if they are running a rolling scripts to update accounts this weekend on the backend. Hummm, All the things it could be!

Small thing..update turned ON one pedal drive. Took a minute to realize what it was and turn it off since we have never used it (tried it at the beginning and didn’t like it all).

Another new thing since 5.1.1.
Yesterday I went to a football game about 75 miles away. Didn’t use the nav or even have the nav app running. I start the car this morning and the instrument panels shows 149 miles to destination and the route is active. I go to home, open navigation and find that there’s a route loaded to the place I travelled to yesterday and back. WTH?

I noticed this happen a couple of times after I got 5.1.1 but then it stopped. I've only had 6.1.0 for a day now and haven't seen that problem with 6.1.0. However after 6.1.0 update I had the car tell me that the rear occupant alert is turned off and wanted to know if I wanted to turn it on or not. I've never seen that happen after any other update.

It's programmed to ask you about that setting once a year, so it's either been a year since you shut it off or it reset the timer on that.

I got that, too right after 5.1.1. It’s not been a year, so probably the reset.

Edit: I didn't realize it asks once a year. That is quite a long period. I guess it makes sense and could save a child's life.

Mine too. All better. She just had to spend some time thinking about it I guess ?

It has reset the timer every time I have opened the rear door since I got 5.1.1. I hate having to tell it no every time I start the car. ??

Then tonight a message flashed on the screen in the car that said something about no longer have Plug & Charge.

Go into FordPass and make sure plug&charge is still turned on
