OTA updates not installing?

On a separate thread, @Mach-Lee noted that my OTA updates were behind. I checked the car and the most recent update installed was 3.5.4.2. However, 3.6.1 was released in October, and 3.6.2 was released in December. The UI to view these updates is limited, and simply says everything is up to date, with no way to force updates, or even see that there are more.

Anyone had this issue and/or know how to get these updates to run?

No way to force OTAs. While not fully caught up, you’re pretty close and that at least means your car is getting OTA updates. For 3.6.1, that’s a HVAC update with a bulletin you can get a dealer to apply it. 3.6.2 seems to have stopped its roll out.

3.6.2 must have been a really limited release because I'm in EA and on 3.6.1 and never got it despite checking daily.

Yes there was an issue here with OTAs not installing:

They did the HVAC update (3.6.1) manually and repaired your APIM successfully on Dec 6th. The next day they updated your powertrain modules (3.6.2), gear shift module, and wireless charger. However I don't see another attempt at an APIM update after the recovery procedure? Do you have an A/C button below the AUTO button in the climate controls?

The other thing I would check is if your TCU is provisioned, follow the directions here to check: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/ssm-51228-inoperative-fordpass-remote-features.23858/

I'm still not sure if things are fixed 100%, you don't have any OTAs pending currently but you can see if the next one installs or not.

How do you get to diagnostics screens?

Go to the Radio app where you can see the stations etc on the SYNC screen. Then hold down the steering wheel buttons for previous track and volume down for about 10 seconds.
