Both our Mach’s are still stuck on 3.5.4. We just got that. They are 2022 Premiums Extended we got in December.
I hear in the US there’s a number to call to help get the next updates pushed to the cars. Any ideas if we have anything similar to Canada? Ever since this next update my car is super wonky (while I’m waiting for mine). Not connecting to phone. Ability to change profile. Keeps reverting to guest. Etc. I just want the newest updates!!

If it makes you feel any better, those issues aren't fixed in the latest updates either.

Just go to the dealer and tell them you’re not getting the updates. I told my dealer I was 4 PowerUps behind.

The OTA call Center today said I’m up to date and they will send it out when they get them out? Lol.

I don’t believe much of what the OTA center has to say. I was having issues for awhile and three different reps said three different things, virtually none of which was helpful.

I was stuck waiting for 3.5.2 due to a shipping delay. It took almost a month to get it and then I’ve had four updates in seven days. (3.5.2, 3.5.3, 3.5.3.3, 3.5.4). I’m still behind so I’m expecting more soon.

I believe the 4.X rollout is going slower since it’s a major change. Just because you’re on 3.6 doesn’t mean you aren’t fully up to date. If you don’t have it after a few more weeks, then I’d complain to a dealer.

Thanks. I’m at 3.5.4 on both my Mach’s still. Guess we shall see.

There is nothing wrong with your car. I got my 22 in November and I am up to 3.5.4 as well. Ford pushes updates in batches by when the car was built. They have not pushed any updates past 3.5.4 to any late build 2022s.

It will happen eventually, but there’s nothing you can do until then unfortunately.

That’s what I thought. But another guy with similar build got it.
But I’m having tons of issues with my sync. Keeps going back to guest profile. Won’t let me switch to mine. Won’t let me add or delete anymore. Won’t connect my phone. Etc. One guy said that all went away with latest updates.

If only that were true. My car is also on 3.5.4. 7/21 delivery. 🤷‍♂️

I would be curious when his car was built. Everyone I have spoken to that has a late build 22 is sitting at 3.5.4.

Unfortunately early reports are neither the guest profile bug, or the CarPlay bug are fixed in future versions. Just so you know, there are 6 updates past where we are, but only 2 are for the module that control sync, the APIM. Those updates are 4.1.2, and 4.1.3. The other updates impact other parts of the car.

That's me. November build, sold to me with expired blue cruise and software older than 3.5. Thanks to a tip on these forums, I called the OTA line, and about ten days later I received four updates in a row, bringing me up to 3.5.4 and working BC.

Then, nothing. I waited over a week, called the OTA line again, and they said nothing else has been pushed to my car and that I'll get the updates "when I get them."

Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that they sold me a $70k car with old and non-functional software. Isn't the least they could do is make sure all new cars leave the lot with the latest stable software?

Per Wikipedia, there seem to be 9 updates after 3.5.4, though perhaps some of them are included in subsequent updates and will be skipped:

Unfortunately it is not policy for dealers to apply any updates on delivery, except when noted by Ford. The expired BlueCruise maps is inexcusable by Ford, but the dealers don’t know enough to check on that yet.

Per that Wiki there are 5 in general release, one in early access testing. The others are updates that some might get, others might not. None of those 6 updates will be skipped as most address different modules.
