Shipped from Mexico 9/17, delivered to the Muncie ramp in KS today 10/3 according to palsapp.com. 16 days.

I figure I'll see another update in a few days for the next (last?) train ride. I guess my car will arrive this month, two months ahead of schedule.

Our cars were probably on the same train from Mexico, and now again on the same train West. Have you asked the dealer for a VVR? I can't decide if I should get the rail car number from my dealer and obsessively track the Union Pacific train, or just let it go. It will get here when it gets here.

I have not. I'm just gonna figure the ETA - fourth week of October - is probably about right, since everything seems to have gone pretty smoothly so far. Maybe in ~2 weeks we can see an updated California arrival in palsapp, and the car should arrive at the dealer not too long after that. I think.

FYI, palsapp won't show anything for us anymore, as Jack Cooper doesn't handle the trucking here. From what I have determined so far, the So Cal auto transport companies don't have online tracking pages.

This is almost certainly correct. Palsapp (Jack Cooper) is a trucking company. They move cars from one train to another, and maybe move cars to dealers that are close enough to truck from KC (not sure about that, but it seems likely). My dealer is in NJ so I believe Jack Cooper will put my car on the train to Delaware, and then someone (probably https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipt) will truck it to the dealer in NJ.

BTW - my car was shipped 9/30 so I expect to see a palsapp update one week from Thursday or Friday.

As someone else posted, you can accurately track your underwear order from Amazon, but you cannot track a $60,000 vehicle from Ford. One day, maybe?

United Road does also list my car with the correct destination dealer, so I'm wondering whether they're going to be catching my car when it gets out here. Unfortunately, I can't figure out any way to get any further info out of that site -- it appears it's locked down for my dealership and I cannot register for delivery receipts (as it appears others were able to do with other dealers)

This is correct, but I'll add that you don't need that extension, you can use the developer tools built into Chrome to view the data. It is exactly the same method that we all used to pull the VIN from the Ford My Orders page.

Ditto - same info can be found in Firefox as well.

Does anyone know once a car is paired how long it takes to actually leave KC? My car was paired yesterday. I live close enough that my car is coming to my local dealership by truck from KC. The original ETA listed is 10/7 and I am very curious if that is actually going to happen?

United Road does also list my car with the correct destination dealer, so I'm wondering whether they're going to be catching my car when it gets out here. Unfortunately, I can't figure out any way to get any further info out of that site -- it appears it's locked down for my dealership and I cannot register for delivery receipts (as it appears others were able to do with other dealers)

I am not entirely sure, reading through other posts it sounds like cars get paired with a truck before leaving KC. But Paired is my car's current status.

On palsapp search by VIN first and pull up TripNumber. Once you have TripNumber search again by Trip Number on palsapp, and see the number of cars that pull up. I have 9 cars show up on my Trip Number, and all 9 have the same status. "Delivered on Oct 02 2021" . Keeping fingers crossed that my car is on a train right now and making its way to Richmond, CA.

nope, nothing. last I know, I was at the Argentine Ramp on 9/28. The friendlier guy at my dealer is in on Thursday, so I'm going to give him a call then. (The other gentleman told me on 9/28 that my car was still in mexico, and not to expect it before 10/31, so...)

I had my dealer pull up VVR again, and it looks like my car has decided to take the scenic route home

Only 6 cars listed with my trip number, maybe they are waiting for a few more before they leave KC... They all say pending and when I looked up the other mach e on the tracker the ETA for that car is listed as 10/20.

Wasting time while waiting. Here is a map showing major railyards in KC. My guess is that the trains come into the UP yard and then cars are transferred to the Argentine Yard for shipments west, the Norfolk southern yard for trips east, etc.
