Although I also changed my wheels which might have had an impact when I swapped my elects for the AS 3+s, I lost no range. My average before and after remained exactly the same.

I noticed no difference in the noise level, and feel the ride and handling were improved by the change.

Did you change wheel size?

No, same wheel size (20") and stock tire size.

PXL_20241218_180430339.jpg
Thanks.

That is similar to what I am doing. I have a set of Atomic AWZZ wheels on order. I went with 20” diameter and 8.5” width, as opposed to oem 8” or 9” or greater. I am also staying with oem offset. I am going with the oem 245/45x20 tire size, regardless of which tires I actually buy. My car is a premium so I’m going from 19x7 wheels and 225/55x19 tires. Should be a nice change.

I'm getting the AS+3 mounted to my GTPE in a few hours. The tire rack reviews on this tire were glowing, good grip and very quiet, didn't see a reason to go with the Elect specific tire. Glad to see these positive reviews.

Stock Pirellis aren't worn out at 15k miles, but we're getting lots of cold temps and recently 8" of snow here in NoVA, so my wife and I have been down to only one car. Can't wait to see how this thing drives in snow and slush.

Update: After a few days and a few commutes and highway drives, these tires are noticeably quieter at low speeds than the stock summers. I've been intentionally driving through snow and slush still on the road and the traction is great. The vibration at highway speed that I've had since I bought the car is also gone, so that's a nice plus. Quick back and forth steering inputs don't feel as sharp as the stockers, but of course that's expected. Plus it's been like 30 degrees, so traction isn't exactly perfect. Very happy so far.

Can I ask where you ordered the Elecs from?
I got mine through discount tire in 245/45/20 Very happy with them. More happy with them around 35 PSI in the rear but I have Koni's and they're stiff on the expansion joints so to match the level of "womp womp" when driving over expansion joints I drop the rear pis 3 to 4 psi. Mods in my sig. I'm going to grab a set of 24 rear shocks to see if 1. they're better 2. they're a worthy alternative to the Koni's for daily drivers in crappy road areas.

Update again on the AS+3! We're in the middle of a snowstorm and there is 5-6 inches on the ground so far. I went out for a drive to test out the tires and Mach-E in the snow. Almost all the neighborhood roads I drove were unplowed and barely tracked out by other cars, maybe pre-treated but I doubt it. I picked the steepest hills I could find, all verified 12+% grades by me cycling up them many many times in a route called "Alexandria Hills".

Zero problems. I couldn't believe how confident the car was. I tried turning off traction control and stopping in the middle of the steepest part of the hills and still no issues getting up. I did the same test after I put Toyo AT3 tires on my Grand Cherokee, which are 3 peak snow rated. Very happy with these tires in the last month.

So dumb for Ford to put summers on this car from the factory when the handling and acceleration are still so damn good with UHP all seasons. Still wish I had a Rally...

Could anyone help me understand the difference between the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 versus the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect ?

The Plus 3 seems more commonly recommended, both are highly reviewed, the Plus features PNCS noise reduction, they are extremely close in cost, and I can't tell why Pirelli offers two tires that seem so very similar.

Thanks!
And then there is this...
Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 (same name different result at Tire Rack...can this be any more confusing?)

Different sizes. I linked to the 245/45R20, you linked to the 225/55R19.

Not sure of current offerings but when the Mach E was new it came with 18" wheels (Select or Route 1), 19" wheels (Premium), or 20" wheels (GT or GT-PE).

Tomorrow I replace the PZero as plus elects with Scorpion Zero AS Plus Elects due to them being discontinued right after I bought them and needing a new tire. Discount worked worked with me on it so i'm also going up to 265's.

FYI the PNCS noise stuff adds about 4lb to the tire weight (each)

So, apparently, Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 also has an "Elect" version. I bought mine through a local Goodyear franchise store and actually got them for $30 less per tire. Before buying, I confirmed that they are in fact EV specific tires. In the photos, below and to the right of "Plus 3" you can see "ELECT". I got these Nov 21 and absolutely love them.

Correct. Elect has a different compound and 560 tw vs 600 (not that it's a big deal) but also the elects are only in certain sizes. Like 265/45/20 but not 245/45/20
Looks like they also rebranded it to a Scorpion

Not too proud to admit they were high tread from utires.com
I used to have real good luck with them as they were always really responsive to questions. Bought several sets from them with "high tread" as well. They USED to always answer any specific questions such as tire manufacture date and my key question "any patches or plugs". I now get a canned response when i ask about patches or plugs that states " tires may have had a repair". It's a personal thing for me, even though i know a patched tire SHOULD be perfectly safe to drive on, I would prefer NOT to have one...
