"Ponied" my first Mach-E today!

I looked at a lot of different ponies/horses/duck-horses from several different sources and decided on this one. Unfortunately they won't stand on all four hooves; I stuck the tail of the one in the pic under a weight to keep it upright. A minor inconvenience/annoyance since it slides all over the dash anyway. Although they would sit on the dash better, I didn't like any of the duck-horses; if I have to talk myself into seeing any horse characteristics I say phewy on it. YMMV.

I don't see many Mach-Es on the road and have only seen 2 in the same parking lot at the same time I was in it (other than at a Ford dealer). The first time I didn't have any ponies but this afternoon, just as we were exiting a Kroger store, a blue Mach-E like mine (though not a GT) drove by. I noted the aisle it went up and drove up to it. The occupant(s) had already left the vehicle so I put the pony on the windshield with the tail under the wiper blade so it'd be right in their face when they get in. Kewl!

I looked at several that were about that size. The 2 problems I see are 1) they are so small they would be hard to see if you're not standing next to the vehicle and 2) they appear to be very slippery. If I owned my MME rather than leased it I would put a strip of velcro on the dash and little velcro patches on the feet of the horse so it wouldn't go any where. That should work for any style I get if anyone ever ponies my vehicle.

Yep, Liv likes to leave Fancy Ponies on Mach-Es along with info on how to join the official Mustang Mach-E Club of America.


It all started when we stopped at the Baker, CA, Electrify America station back in 2022 and she saw a bag of Fancy Ponies in the convenience store.

She's also handed them out to people directly including Jim Farley and Romain Dumas! (Jim Farley actually has two!)

Yaaay I love this so much! As @The Electric Duo said, I LOVE giving out Fancy Ponies to other Mach-E's and Mach-E owners we meet! I put it on the door handle so it's right there and impossible to miss.

If i had bought a bag of fancy ponies in 2022, I’d still have the entire bag. Apparently I only go out when real people are working.

I do, however, have a Big Island EV association sticker with a QR code on the window of my 21 Premium (“Otto”). And have ‘caught’ people scaning the code upon occasion. (Which is the whole point of the code).

About 3 months ago I saw only the second infinite blue mach-e, other than my own, in almost 5 years. Now that definitely deserved a pony.

I would never make it anywhere if i did this where I live Mach-e is a bit too popular here. Tho i suspect from others driving them it’s “just a car” they don’t look like they care that much. Would probably have to save for GTs and Rally’s cause those are rare here.

Super fun tho, it’s neat to find community around you in different ways.

hahah that's awesome!! Mach-E's aren't suuuuuper common here but we definitely see them enough that I always need Fancy Ponies on hand. At a recent farmers market, there were so many Mach-E's parked that I ran out of Ponies haha
