How do you force it instead of waiting?I got xxx-BLM-PE this evening. I forced the update instead of waiting. Interestingly, there was a distinct whirring noise from the left rear fender for at least the last minute or so of the update (I wasn't near the car for the beginning). Parking brake?
It needs to be sent there is no such thing as forcing it to download an update. If it is an inhibited update (needs to be off to install) it tells you it will install it on your set schedule or you can override that and force it to install it now. It then tells you to turn off the car and leave. How do you force it instead of waiting?
I wasn’t clear: once the update downloaded, I forced the install instead of waiting until my normally scheduled update time. There’s no way to force a download. How do you force it instead of waiting?
Similarly for me, though I'm not EA. 9 July 21 build, 4XP model.Changed vote:
received FX2 6.8 and 6.14 all in the last 5 days. 21 premium job 2 in EA
Good luck on that one. It seems that Ford wants to keep us in the dark as much as possible. The FDRS thread might be able to help you.Went out to for a drive yesterday. Checked for updates, and it showed 6.14.0 (which I got on May 29 and it was complete) as Not Complete. This usually means there is more than one update - one just installed, and one ready to install. I drove about 10 minutes and the car told me I had an update pending, so when I got home, I installed it. That was 24-PU0301-BLM-PE. What I don't know is if there really was another update just prior to 24-PU0301-BLM-PE on the same day. And if so, which? I seem to be just about caught up. 21 Job 1, not EA.
I guess what I'm looking for is a complete update history, not just the last one.
I got 5.1.1 on june 6 and nothing after that. How long did it take for other updates for youI just got 5.1.1 today when I got back from the Rove charging site ground-breaking. I’m sure that they’ll all start rolling in faster than I can dismiss the notifications![]()
We need to refer to them as AUD (NoAUD) CHG Tesla as any chance of trying to track if you are up to date has been eliminated. It is a shell game. Appears updates have been broken into small loads to avoid a lot of different problems all at once. Not 6.6.01 etc. just random names.I got the door lock one at lunch. Just a scant 3 weeks after the AUD update..
rollin rollin rollin
6.1.4.0 or 6.14.0?I got ECG-24.2.4.9 last week and just got 6.1.4.0. It updated/rebooted the main screen while I was driving(!). Early 2023.
