I just got 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX which incidentally is not in the poll there’s one that’s close. Maybe a typo?

Yes, I'm sure I left off the last "1" in that number sequence -- they are typically 4 numerical digits. Unfortunately, once someone chooses a poll option it can't be edited.

Apologies in advance - I just got my 23' MME a week ago, so I am doing my best to learn all this new lingo.

I am trying to understand how versions of Sync, BC and various software module updates are related or dependent on each other. I have received one update this week and it has the identifier ECG-24.2.4.9. Its not exactly clear to me how that relates (if at all) to any of the other software versions (Sync, BC or module updates). A person with FDRS account was kind enough to run my VIN (3FMTK4SX2PMA69526) and captured a screenshot showing that my car has a number of updates for various modules available. Its not clear to me how those relate (if at all) to Sync or BC versions. Also, for the various modules that have updates available, should I expect those to eventually happen via OTA? Or is this something that will require a trip the dealer? And if the dealer does this, who pays for that labor? Its sounds like it can take a number of hours to do.

It blows my mind that one can't see what software versions are running through the center display. I'd even take a "cat /etc/os-release" option. It blows my mind that one can't initiate a "check for updates" either.

Much thanks for any help and your patience as I get acclimated with this platform.

OTA updates affect different modules, so there's no single OS version. Using your analogy, it's more like you get an update to libcrypt or xorg-server, so you can only see what the version of that package you have. It tells you nothing about what version of Ubuntu/Fedora/Manjaro you have.

Ah! That makes sense. But I imagine there must be some compatibility/dependency between some modules, their version of code, and the Sync or BC version. How/what is responsible for the order of installation? (sorry, I might be getting to unnecessarily curious here)

Is anyone getting anything after the 2 ECGs and 6.14?
Yes, just downloaded 24-PU0121–FTDI-FX. Battery Optimization.
Took my battery down to 42%. Drove to the store a couple miles and back and the battery jumped to 65%. Note the update hasn't installed yet, installs at 1 AM tonight.
So the next couple hours I am charging at level one to boost the battery.
Update however said it only takes 7 minutes during install when I can't drive the vehicle.

Update: Download installed ok. Had to redo a couple radio presets that disappeared.

12V battery running in the high 80's.

I received IPMA-24.204.8.27, but that package appears to only be for 2023.0 models. 2021/2022 have a different package, and 2023.5 and later already have it.

BLM-PE finally downloaded and installed this afternoon, almost 90 days after not completing on the first try. 6.14 was at the end of March. Poll updated
