I got this yesterday and the description says it fixes a bug in the radio presets ???
But is this before 5.1 or after 5.1?

This is a GWM (gateway module) update, nothing to do with HVAC or preconditioning. Once again the release notes got recycled wrong.

Brings GWM to version LJ8T-14H021-NAE, which seems to be a new chain. This may be the first of 5.x updates for BlueCruise 1.3.

That's embarrassing.

Wife has the car right now, but FordPass shows no updates, and none show when I look at the code via the Ford.com website either...

Status probably didn't update yet after installing. They wouldn't release a second one that fast IMO. Will probably go away later.

How often do we hear this about a "new" update recently? Too often!

It seems that sombody must have a job goal to post an OTA update every X weeks. Too bad their goal doesn't actually define the nortion of "update" or make it clear reusing updates with the same release notes but assigning a new release number does not meet the goal.

Some days the OTA roll outs seem to be managed by Wally in the Dilbert series.

So far its only shown up in FDRS for 2021 vehicles. And not all of them. It hasn't shown up for mine yet.
