PPF looks great!

I had PPF applied to the front and hood. It looks fantastic, I can’t even see it except for those areas are a tiny bit glossier. No edges or seams are visible. Done by the folks at CGS Vinyl. It has a 10 year warranty. They also used the Ford paint that I supplied to paint a few chipped places, and buffed off some other marks. Apparently skill matters!

was going to have it done by a very good shop here in the SF Bay Area (the one I always have do my window tints) but decided against it because they needed the car for a week. The funny thing is that they were a lot less expensive than some of the other shops I got quotes from. ?‍?

Ceramic coating could be applied over top of the front, or the whole car. PPF protects, but ceramic keeps it shiny and clean, makes water roll off. That is easier than applying the PPF, can be DIY - just needs to be prepped.

Good job! I had the front end of mine protected with PPF as soon as I bought it. It looks amazing 3 years later and has kept the entire front end protected. I love it!

I had Piano Black wrap applied to the grill area, and then added PPF to the entire bumper area over that. It was around $500 at Tint World a year ago, and has a ten year guarantee.

The Infinite Blue is the best color! I remember two of my neighbors had cars with a similar/identical Ford color from the mid-60s. (A '64 Mustang and a Fairlane 3-row wagon).

Maybe back in the day. You're definitely not getting a whole front end painted for less than $2000.

I had PPF done as “partial front” 3 yrs ago. I was mainly concerned about the grill and front hood. It has held up very well. I had it done at ACAP in Malvern, PA. They are real pros.
I told them I considered the Tesla Y but they were having trouble with fit and paint finish. They said they had to call some Tesla owners to see if they wanted Tesla to fix the paint before they proceeded with PPF. They saw some big defects in the paint and uneven panels.

Looks great, nice job!!! i also used PPF on my black trim but went with color vinyl with ceramic on body

Yes we agree and had the exact same thing done to our 2024 MME. Full front PPF topped with ceramic pro. Awesome!

With my GTPP1, I had XPEL PPF and XPEL Ceramic coating. That cost me a fortune. With my MME GTPE, I vowed that I would not PPF or ceramic coat again.

Don't get me wrong, it certainly helps with stones and washes. I just don't want to spend that sort of money again...
