4.24.0 is the update that caused me to turn off auto update for the FordPass app ? Thank goodness 4.24.2 resolved the issue... (side note -- not on a Pixel anything, I'd say Android specific rather than Google Pixel 7/Pro)

Is anyone experiencing issues with the March security update and PaaK? It's pretty much broken PaaK completely for me. I have to do a dance between FP and toggling Bluetooth to get a temporary connection.

I applied the March Pixel update on Tuesday. No issues with Paak so far.

Honestly, it might be my car. I'm getting all kinds of errors lately including SVS tonight. Thanks for the feedback it helps me figure out the root cause.

Yes. Totally unstable.

I took the beta 13 QPR3 last night, seems fine so far. But yeah earlier this week on the QPR2 which I believe is also the March stable release I was having some issues.

Yes. I was able to unlock the doors and start the car using the app, but could not drive as "no key detected" was prevalent. I had to use a backup code to drive. Frustrating as I just started to try to use PAAK regularly. Worked pretty well until the update, except for regularly having to wake up the car.

Ok so anyone who has a P7/P7P should be aware that the March security update might boink PaaK. The most reliable way I've found to get PaaK working with this update as a momentary solution is to toggle BT on and off and then immediately open FP. It will connect and allow you to drive away. It will disconnect within a very short period and you'll have to do the dance again at the next stop to open the doors and start the vehicle without a code.

Extremely frustrating, but it looks like the blame is on Google for this one unless Ford didn't comply with new procedures that would have been conveyed months ahead.

PAAK worked great for me until I just changed phones from a Samsung S20FE to a Google Pixel 7.
PAAK worked for a day or so and then died. Deleted the phone's PAAK and tried to re-load. Can't get it to reload at all . . . .

That's because you have to remove it from the car as well. Totally different issue. Ford should have some instruction on this because it's a common problem.

Settings -> General -> Reset -> Fordpass Connect Reset -> Phone as a Key Reset. Then remove all of the bluetooth connections previously made with the car on your phone.

Todd - sorry, I did remove the phone and PAAK from my FE (and my profile), and then tried to re-set up the PAAK and couldn't get it to work.

To be fair ... if you search for iPhone and carplay on this forum you'll see just as many issues if not more.

Oh God, I would buy a Tesla before I bought an iphone. Proprietary chargers, clueless owners...
