when you got a shipping tracking number, how did you look it up?

I ordered the cargo mat and it says it shipped to my dealer, but the notification gave me some bizarro tracking number (supposedly for FedEx) starting with a "Y" that I can't seem to do anything with?

I don't think I ever got a real tracking number when I ordered my floor mats. I just got an email from Ford Parts when my order was available for pickup.

I went ahead and placed an order for the "Remote Control System" as well. $32.55 after tax shipped FedEx to me.

We'll see how it works out!

For reference here's the info from inside my current FOB:

It shows Part number JR3T-15K601-FA, instead of the JR3Z-15K601-R on the one we're purchasing. If you search for the JR3Z it takes you to the one referenced here though....

Wouldn't it be great if the difference in part number is because the new one has a frunk button?

Ford really played us, "Purchasing Dept says, " . Order 50k extra FOBs for Parts Department. "

Parts Dept, "that's an abnormal order and we're going to have to store them?".

Purchasing Dept. replies, " Don't worry, Mach E Program Managers said they got us covered, something about only sending one key with each of those new electric Mustangs!"

*Roger, we'll, get em ordered!"

I got an email after ordering the fob (the black part not the blank) - that its not available and back ordered and should check with dealer.

Hmm. My order still says “processing”.

Also my dealer emailed me just now saying the ford system is not clear - they are listing 4 keys for the MME in the system but only one available to order and he is getting that one to see if it works.

They dont even need to order - just take half of normal run of key fobs and use them as replacement orders

Well - mine was shipped to my house. So it'll be at least 5-6PM ET before I'd get my hands on it... ?

The fob is now listed as backordered on the Ford Parts site. My order is still "processing", so not sure if it will ship or if it will end up getting cancelled.

As per usual here lately - no updates on my FedEx tracking so I doubt it'll be here today. Maybe tomorrow.

I don't think I've had many packages at all, outside of some from Amazon, arrive on their scheduled delivery date here recently.
