2024 Mach-E Rally
I have a 2024 Rally, which comes stock with 19" rally wheels. From what I've found these are 8" wide and have +47.5mm offset.

I want to get some black wheels for it to contrast the white car. I found a number of options, but I have a couple questions that I haven't been able to fully decipher by browsing the posts here so far.

1: The wheels I am looking @ are 19" diameter and 8.5" wide (so .5 wider than stock wheels), and they come as +35mm or +45mm offset. I am curious if +35, combined with the extra width will cause the wheels to stick out too far? Both offsets claim to work with the Mach-E, but just make me nervous having too much poke.
2: the stock tires are 235/55R19. is it possible to go to a larger diameter tire without rubbing?

Thanks!

how does that calc tell you they won't rub, or what the real offset is when it doesn't include wheel width? 42mm is .11" different than stock.

thanks, I've been reading through that first one a lot trying to hunt down some answers! I've done new wheels and tires on and F150 that I lifted before, but messing with a car seems a lot more constrained on options, and with the rally being 1" higher than a GT, hard to determine what works.

If you were going with a higher offset I would say be careful.
With the +45 you will be a little closer to the suspension, but not enough to worry about.
With the +35, it will stick out about 15 mm. Again, nothing to worry about on the fit, just whether you like the look or not.

Shannon, I’d go with the 45 offset and for some reason if you have any issues with the tires rubbing, I’d add some 3mm spacers but I think you will be ok. ?

You think there is a chance a 45 might rub on the inside? Is that because even though the offset moves it slightly further outward, the wheel being wider might be an issue? Trying to understand.

I think you will have no issues whatsoever. I was just saying in case you were to have an issue you can add a spacer. Keeping the same tire sizes you should have no issues.
