Sickening. I'm glad and Liv are OK. Life is not fair but it could have been worse.

44 days felt really long, but I was worried it was going to be a lot worse. Because I compared the Mach-E to the Model Y a lot before making my purchase decision, I heard a lot of horror stories about the long repair times for Tesla.

Here's one I recall because I've watch a lot of Fast Lane Cars videos. It took them 3 months to get their Model 3 back. And TBH, it looked like their damage was a bit less than the Mach-E had but the cost of repairs was about the same. The damage was in a similar area of the car as well.

I don't know really. I'm sure the cops just gave him a citation for careless driving and fleeing the scene. That means his license was revoked, but he was actually on a learner's permit and shouldn't have even been driving. And he was driving a company van, so I think the company should be penalized as well.

It is really frustrating. Because we weren't injured, there aren't many repercussions. If e had been injured, we could have sued for additional punitive damages beyond our bills.

The best I can hope for now is a successful recovery for Diminished Value.
