I got mine back today. So they had it for four 3 days.

I can already tell it's "beefier" when the box is high voltage junctioning....... okay seriously nothing to report...

The part number put into my MMe:
“NKZ-10C66-CRM REMAN CONNECTOR”

Take your time y’all Wait for the good stuff.

I think as time progresses all the removed HVBJB will be remanufactored so getting a reman box will increase.

I had my 22 GT in on Friday and received a loaner. Now on Tuesday it was ready. So it took about two business days. Received part # LK9Z-10C666-C

I’m still waiting for the recall notice to be removed from my FordPass account.

It takes a week to two for completed recalls to not show on the site. (or if they didn't do it right, it may stay forever).

I dropped my car off yesterday morning. They said they will need it for 4-5 days as it's the first one they are doing so they want to take their time and be extra careful (or so the service advisor says).
They gave me a 23 MME 4X CR1 as loaner. The loaner is quieter (no suspension clunk), feels faster/stronger, and also seems to be a bit more efficient than my 21 Premium 4X. The ride is also more comfortable (probably due to 18" wheels vs 19"). So far driving the loaner around yesterday and today, I'm getting over 3.3 miles/kwh while in my car I only get 1.8-2 miles/kwh around the same roads. A small fraction of it may be due to the smaller wheels, but I'm wondering if the 23 got some other optimizations somewhere.

You should know better than to trust the numbers in the computer. 1.8 is too low. Better to calculate efficiency yourself, but you would have to charge to 100% then drive to near zero and see how far you get.

No chance the 23 is statistically different in energy usage let alone 50% more efficient when using identical hardware.

Over the last 2-3 months, I've been getting 120 miles per charge, and by that I mean charge to 90%, drive till it's down to 20%. So for 70% of my extended range battery, I get 120 miles. 70% of 88-91kwh battery is roughly 63 kwh. So roughly 1.8-2 miles per kwh.

While I haven't been able to drive that loaner long enough to drain the battery significantly, I did charge it up to 100% and the manual calculations show it is getting roughly 3.3 mile/kwh. My emporia showed it delivered 21.3kwh to the car, which means roughly 20kwh got into the battery, (I typically see about 7% loss between what emporia reports vs what my MME shows), I've driven 67 miles. So 67/20 is roughly 3.3 miles/kwh.

I believe that’s how you calculated it.

I just don’t believe the 2023 is 50% more efficient. So something is wrong in the calculations or something is wrong with your car.

Easier to believe the math is off.

If 2023s gained any measurable efficiency we would know that by now.

I know! I was as shocked as you are when I got in the loaner yesterday, started to drive around for all the errands, and watched as the battery % indicator stayed steady instead of dropping 1% every 1-1.5 miles like my car. So I decided to charge it to 100% today and see what I used and calculate it.
As an example, my daily 5.5 mile round trip to drop the kids off at school normally uses 3-4% of the indicated battery % on my car. Today with the loaner it only dropped 2%. Similarly the 4 mile round trip to the grocery store is normally a 2-3% drop in my car, while the loaner only dropped 1% today on that same trip.

I have it for a few more days and will do some more tests with it.

The battery % indicator unfortunately tells you very little about actual consumption.

I remember a thread a few months back where the OP was convinced that using 1PD with BC cut efficiency in half.

Took 8 pages to uncover that they were calculating efficiency using miles travelled per 10% battery use. ?‍♂

Got my car back today. Took them 4 days to do the recall. Got the "E" part according to the paperwork.
Still having charging issues (where it would stop charging after 3 minutes on a 10kwh 40 amp or greater charger. Have to cycle a few times for it to continue to charge, and it slows from 11kwh down to 8 or 9 kwh after 15 minutes).

Mysteriously 6.2.1 started to download (for the 2nd time) after I picked up from dealer, and it finished installing 2 hours later.

There is a fix for your charging issue. You should reference the information in Lee's post when you take it back to the dealer.

Mine's back, with the 'E' part.

The repair took approximately 1.5 days, as it was their first recall repair. In my short drive home, everything was fine. They test drove it and charged to 100% as well (not sure if it was L2 or L3.)

They indicated the mobile charging mat, the points, and the gift card for gas expenses would be mailed once the systems were updated that the recall was complete.

Shout-out to Wickstrom Ford for their high-touch, good and open communication throughout the process.

(They provided Bronco Sport as a loaner, and I'm already hoping they come out with an EV or PHEV version of the full Bronco at some point. Jeep has a PHEV model, but it's really expensive, and as much as I admire the Jeep and its brand, it's a Stellantis.)

I showed the TSB to the dealer. They said they couldn't duplicate the issue as they only had a 5kwh charger and the only time the issue occurs is when using 10kwh or higher charger.
Also the modules listed in that link are also updated as part of the HVBJB recall, so the recall work would've updated them anyway.

This is true if the work was completed in the past couple weeks since that TSB was published.

It’s possible the dealer did not do the software updates they were supposed to do as well.
