Saw this on a '23 window sticker so I checked on some others and it's there as well.
Anybody know what this is?

I wonder how much of a difference it is versus the original cabin filter?

Well Okay then! Interesting they thought it was important enough to put that on the sticker.

Thanks to all for the help :)

Well, since they added $350, they figured it should be prominent...

“particles 30 times smaller…” What kind of backward logic is that? Easier and more correct to type “…particles 1/30th the size…” Marketing people! ?‍♂?

The Ford site stated they are available on the Mach E since 2021? These might be the OEM filters installed already?

The new high efficiency cabin filters were announced a year or two ago, but have yet to be in stock (I've been trying to get one for months). There seems to be some kind of filter media shortage. Who knows if you actually got one. Somebody with a 2023 pop theirs out and take a picture?, it will have more pleats than the standard FP89 filter.

Press from Ford:

Refresh95 Cabin Air Filter works similarly to the vehicle’s engine air filter or a home furnace filter, removing certain debris in the air before it is circulated in the system. Here, the Refresh95 Cabin Particulate and Odor Filter is part of the HVAC or Climate Control System in the vehicle and filters out certain particles in or before they enter the cabin air.

The Refresh95 Cabin Air Filter carries a CN95 Certification, which is the best filtration specification available today for the global automotive industry. Key benefits to the filter include:
  • Helps reduce the concentration of dust and aerosols in the vehicle interior
  • Outside smog impact to cabin air quality can be significantly reduced by the climate system
  • Filters 99% of common pollens and mold
  • Better than 95% filtration of 2.5 micron and larger road dust
  • Helps protect from seasonal allergens, molds, dust, smoke, bacteria and other 2.5 micron and larger particulates
