A new location has opened at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood Washington. Found the location on PlugShare. Says Rivian only. Is the a correct statement?

Earlier in the year, Rivian claimed they would be opening up their network to non-Rivian vehicles. I have not read of this occurring yet.

I’ve heard of their network but never seen one. But plenty of Rivian at EA etc.

Side note I’m very happy that Alderwood mall (200 +/- stores has 10 or so level 2 (free Shell recharge) and 2 or three level 3.

Most Rivian chargers are in pretty out of the way places like the one in Forks, or Moab UT, or Grand Canyon etc. Alderwood would be an odd place for them.

... they recently opened a charger at the Oswego mall in Portland. I don't think of Rivians as Mall-crawlers, but here we are.

Let us see what happens at the end of this year. 2024 that is. I have a Rivian station 7 miles away from my home and practically another (1/4 mile) from my daughter’s residence in Louisiana.
We are all waiting to see what happens. The cables are short and getting up close to the station can be tricky. But, we are all waiting for the network to open up. Pricing will be another issue. No details and no numbers, yet. If all works out like the Tesla network opening up to Ford EVs, I am looking at Dec 31st as the target date.

IIRC, one of the NEVI sites in Michigan is reported at Rivian.

Granted, that will be several months before it matters.

As of right now, yes. They plan to open in the future.

There is a tesla supercharging location in Bothell that works with the adapters if you have one.
