I can't find the reset button for the "Service tire mobility kit"? Does it exist? Or do I need to reset another way?

Why are you trying to reset it? Do you know what that means?

Take the pump out, flip it over, and read the expiation date on the goo tank. Ex April 2025. Go into the settings on the SYNC screen (Tire Mobility Kit or similar) and select how many years in the future the expiration date is (e.g. you would select 3 years in this example). That should take care of it.

The warning has a timer on it from new. I think it is 4 years, label on device says it. Someone messed with your dash settings.

I am the only one using the car so it must have been set by the factory for one year. I have not looked at the date on the can yet.

I would definitely check the date on it; maybe they were using some that expired in a year??

Even if you extend the warning to be 4 years eventually that time will pass.

This thread still doesn't have an answer on how to reset it once your kit does expire and get replaced.

I'll use the "set it to 4 years" hack to avoid having it cause any issues when I get this year's inspection this week, but it's nothing more than a hack that will expire in at most 3 more years.

My 4 year timer option is now past and I am getting the warning message each time I power up. How do I disable or reset the warning to 4years in the future again. To keep it from popping up each time I start the car?

Can you change the option to 3 years and then back to 4 years? That should reset it.

Thanks, that got rid of the alert.

Now... 4 years seems to be low to "expire".

Would you eat a can of soup that's 4 years old? Tire goop is similar in that it degrades/congeals with time and has to be replaced if you want it to work when needed.
