Setting charging limits

Has anyone had any luck setting charging limit on their Mach-e. I am using the Ford supplied charger on a Standard MME. I have the Setting in Ford Pass app to limit charging to 90%. The setting in the car shows 90%. However every time I charge it takes it to 100%. I am using L2 at 220 volts and a 50amp breaker.

Check Use Preferred Charge Settings, not Charge When Plugged In...

Also make sure Charging Location is switched on in the car. Not 100% sure how this works but the manual states it turns off the settings for that location. Maybe not the issue but if the settings are off I would expect the car to charge to 100%; although, I could be wrong. More likely @RickMachE suggestion to check the setting in FP should fix it for you.

Look at the previous charge locations in the car (not FordPass). Make sure the car knows when it’s “home” and that the charge limit is set for that location.

I've not had a problem with this feature until last night. I typically charge to 90% at home with a Ford Charge Station and it always stopped at my limit. I happened to look at the app last night and noticed it was at 96% and still charging.

I took a look at what @Maquis suggested and noted that the current GPS my Mach-E was reading was that of my neighbor's house, so the car didn't think it was at home and tried to charge to 100%. I created a new location for my neighbor's address and set the target charge to 90%. It looks like that fixed my issue.

I am using the Ford Mobil Charger (std issue with the new car) and the Ford Customer Service tells me that I can't set the charge limit to 90% with this charger. The car doesn't seem to identify a location when I plug it in, so there are no previous or saved locations so adjust the settings for. How can I get this to change?

I think you will need to do a charge first before it will show as a location. After that you can set a charge limit with the Ford Mobile Charger. The limit is set by the car not the charger. The car has zero idea what name brand charger is plugged into it. I had my mobile charger set with a limit.

The challenge I’m having is that the car doesn’t identify a location when I charge so there are no “previous locations” to edit.
