So looks like they are just performing every module update on your vehicle. It would partially explain why you don’t have a reliable status available. They have been at it for the last 4 hours. Currently still going.

Congrats, at least you’ll have bluecruise 1.4 when you get it back!
Hmm, that wasn't what I asked for, so I guess we'll see how it goes! I had actually just received everything to be able to run FDRS over the weekend!

Jesus Christ, Ford can’t get software right, 4 years later.
Ford can't even get a freaking number rounding from MHP to km/h right... Imagine complex component updates and OTA.

Really stating to questioning the whole BlueCruise thing after the investigation opened at NHTSA and their inability to push this BC 1.4 update to all. I wonder if the cars involved in those accidents were running still the outdated and bogus BC 1.0.

Software Development at @Ford Motor Company is a joke.

I dropped my 2021 GTPE at the dealer last Friday morning for 10K service and the 3 recalls on it.
Told me Monday they could not work on any of the 3 recalls. Because of this forum and this specific post, I actually knew more than them at the time. So for that, a huge thank you and much appreciation for the valued contributors here.
I pick it up tomorrow, the 10K service is done but only 1 of the 3 recalls.

I just did my HVBJB recall and picked up the car a bit before this whole 1PD issue started to be discussed here.

So far I haven't had issues with 1PD and it's been working correctly. There was a bunch of modules updated during the recall, so I'm not sure I got lucky and or I just in for a surprise in the next days...

Not sure if it was mentioned or is even accurate, but my local dealership said:

" We are anticipating a resolution somtime during the 3rd Quarter. Ford will send a letter out when they are released"

Let's hope that was for a completely different issue. End of Q3 is 6 months away! I know enough when someone says "sometime during Q3", that really translates to "end of Q3" ;)

Terrible timing on this one for me… my 2nd HVJB faulted Monday around a year from the first time I had it replaced. Car was still drivable with power limited to 25% but on the last one I ended up stranded with full loss of power so my dealer told me to bring it in. They already had the part, but told me the next day they can’t perform the replacement because of this debacle.

Any advice? It sounds like they’re not performing work even if it’s necessary vs. preventative replacement of the HVJB

Tell them to make a case with the support center so the software can be unlocked for a vehicle out of service.

They hooked up the power supply wrong if it’s at 0%.
I got my car back, and Bluecruise is working again (yay!), and it appears that the dealer performed some of the other updates (unexpected, but yay?!). However, when I check on Ford.com, the 12V battery still says 0%. I can start the car ok, but when I turn off the car, the screen gives me a message along the lines of "System powering down to save battery." It says to turn the car on or off. I don't see any warning messages while driving that the 12V battery is low.

Any thoughts about what could cause this particular message?

BMS needs time to learn the state of charge, park the car undisturbed for 8 hours (not charging either) and check it again tomorrow. Quit FordPass on your phone during this time so not to wake it up.

If that doesn't fix it, let me know so we reset something else.

I just had an oil pump failure and had it replaced. They also replaced the HVJB and did software updates. After getting it back I have had at least 5 1Pd failures in a week of driving. Turning off and on it recovers. This is a software problem.
Ford? Are you going to get this fixed?

I don't know if it's just a coincidence or if I'm just lucky. But I had the 1 pedal brake problem twice in the 4 days following the recall. But for almost two weeks now, the brake problem has not reappeared?

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve just been spending time reading your 12V FAQ, so I know more than I did earlier!

They performed 23B50 on my car when it was in for the BC TSB and I've had 3 1PD errors in the 4 weeks since.

Fortunately they've all been while I've been rolling down my driveway, so just a nuisance at this point.
