I'd prefer a one piece design. I have a stainless steel bumper protector on my 2015 Acura MDX and it has served me well over the years. I think this would be a nice addition but I still like a (black) metal one.

Same finish comment - the gloss has the potential to detract from looks if it shows scratches. Can you try out some typical loading on the finish to see if it holds up? I say this because I'm already seeing some small chips in the finish of my spoiler and it's only been on for a couple of weeks.

How does it look on the backend with the trunk closed?

I would prefer a one piece matte black. The gloss will not hold up and will stand out too much against the car paint. Also, I would pay more for a quality product that will stand up to sun (ultra violet). One a quality product once instead of buying a cheap product twice or three times.

Agreed, black non gloss, no words, one piece.
This.

I have the Ford PPF and it's expensive (I think $90) and doesn't cover to the edges. Matte black with no words but good durability is what I want. I don't care if it's multiple pieces, you only see it when the trunk is open and I just want to not worry all much when we put a kid bike in the back of the car....

I’m still waiting for my MME GT (and Lightning, wave 3 order) and I have not seen the problem. I do have a 99 F350, a ‘16 F250, and a ‘20 F250. All have composite plastic stock bed rails. The ‘99 has stood up to 23 years of work. Yes it’s scratched from hauling tools, steel and lumber over the sides but not faded and no sunbaked cracks from 100 degree plus south Texas temps and direct sunlight. Why not use what’s stood the test of time, abuse, and the elements.

I will buy this when you release it. Please no words though. You could give it texture or ridges or something to make it not so plain, but definitely no words.
