Rubber or matte plastic is what I would prefer for durability. And I don’t think it needs the Mustang words in it.
i see, i just added a vote for rubber

This.

I have the Ford PPF and it's expensive (I think $90) and doesn't cover to the edges. Matte black with no words but good durability is what I want. I don't care if it's multiple pieces, you only see it when the trunk is open and I just want to not worry all much when we put a kid bike in the back of the car....
Yeah, I have the Ford textured protector as well. I was disappointed that it only covered the top of the bumper and not the most vulnerable part, the corner transition from horizontal to vertical. It still does A decent job but your design looks like it will do better. ??

I would go with a black unit. As Andy said, I don’t really care if it’s 1 piece or 2 or 3 (although I think 3 or 1 would be better than 2). A 3 piece would probably be easier to install than a single piece unit anyhow And definitely easier/cheaper to package. ??

thank you for the info, we are currently hesitating about this, they each got pros and cons,
the one-pieces will be larger in the package, and about three times more expensive on shipping cost, and since its long, the shipping carrier could potentially bend it during shipping as well, even though we will surely do replacement for buyers if the product ever has any issue, but we don't want to bring buyers inconvenience.
but the pros of the one-piece will be, its better looking, and its... one-piece, and easier to align on the position.
the cons of the three pieces is that its a 3-pieces, could be harder to align on the position.
but the shipping cost will be very cheap, and it won't be bent during shipping.

Can't be that tough to align -- gotta be so much less in terms of shipping and being less fragile to do multiple pieces. As I said, I'm less interested in a beautiful cosmetic piece than I am in not looking at a scratched bumper when I raise my hatch.

I personally would prefer a one piece, wouldn't rubber (which I changed my vote to) solve this problem, could be rolled or so for shipping?

Not sure what people are talking about but I would prefer the Mustang logo or the pony. My vote was for abs/rubber but after seeing the black chrome pic that looks really classy and would love it for my dmg. While single piece would be better it's definitely not worth the shipping and three piece is what I would buy

I was also thinking that it might be possible to roll a rubber bumper protector for shipping. (Not sure how that would work with the pressure sensitive adhesive lining however...)

Hi! I am back, and i wanna update about this product.
we recently made a sample with chrome black 3 pieces stripe design, with this 3 pcs design, we could bring down the retail price to approximately 35-40. if we make it a one-piece design, the retail price will be abt 60-70$ since the shipping cost will be expensive in a one-piece design.
let us know how do you feel about this three pieces design bumper protector.

Working through this thread, so if you've addressed my concerns further down, I apologize.

I've got an ABS version on both hatches in my garage now. I won't own another hatchback without one (Mach-E is still enroute). I would pay extra for one-piece. Three pieces means a gap in between, and the gap will be where my dog puts his big fat foot and scratch the paint.

Matte black, and no logos would be my preference.

@AOSK

Whatever you choose just make it and I will purchase it. Rubber then metal then ABS. If you only sell ABS, I will get that. 1 piece or 3 piece, I will buy it. Just don't release the metal one 2 weeks after the ABS version unless you let us know first.
