Simulated engine sounds

I'm sure this appeals to some people. To me, not in the slightest. One reason why I bought an electric vehicle is so it would be more quiet on the road. The fake engine noise is off in my car.

I bought this car because this is one of the only EVs that have the noise. I want it there.

I had a tesla before the mach e. The mach e sounds exactly like a tesla. It's just the fake noise on top of the already spaceship noise

I love the propulsion sound! Not because I want it to sound like an ICE car, but because I love the engineering that went into it. It’s not as simple as just playing a sound file, it’s dynamic based on your speed and acceleration. Also it was composed specifically for our cars. I think of it more like a dramatic score.

By the way I lived in Idaho Falls in the 70's, worked at INEL when I was in the Navy. Nice town.

I've never tried it. I like the quietness of the car, and my hearing is not that great anyway. It would have to compete with the crickets noise in my ear.

Never understood fake motor noises inside a car of any kind. If you have a motor I want to hear the motor not some fake digital motor sound in my speakers. If I have an EV, I don't want to hear a motor because one of the biggest benefits of an EV is silence.

At least be kind of creative and do something like the taycan and not a weird sudo V6 sound.
