I’ve only successfully gotten Start my car to work once with the new token shortcut, but the token shortcut works for other things.

The start command will only work once (sometimes twice) remotely with shortcuts. Then you have to start the car like you normally would from the inside before it will allow you to start it remotely again. That is a security feature.

Happy that’s true!

Please note, if you have any trouble with the shortcuts after initial set up and testing, you may have to run the Get FordPass token shortcut and the Get vehicle status shortcut to repair. I wouldn’t recommend it too many times, as token generation as an API call might get flagged.

Agree this might happen however I’ve set these shortcuts up on many cars in the last 3+ years on multiple phones in the same family with a single car plus reconfigured mine many times for one reason or another and so far there have never been any issues getting flagged. We never use any app like homebridge that’s constantly pinging, etc. Just configure Apple Shortcuts to run Ford Pass actions. Not sure what that does as far as pinging but so far so good. Have never read on the Mustang 6G, F-150, Ranger, Maverick or Bronco forums I’m impart of, of any issues with Shortcuts either. There is always a first time though. ?

Has anyone tried the latest version of these from earlier this month? Looks like support was added for the new API.

I’m curious if this will still trigger Ford’s Ban Hammer

Yeah, I’m curious too. I thought @tonesto7 was going to let us know about the new API access so he can get his iOS widget running again, really hoping he finds time to come back to us!

Part of me wants to create a second FordPass account and try this to see if it works and if I get banned.

I know I've been so bad lately about keeping up with these projects :)

I have access to the new API but my day job workload has increased significantly so my side projects are falling behind :(

Is “Open the frunk” or “ open the tailgate” available?

Nope. Never has been and doubt it will be. I worked on that for quite some time two years ago. Nothings changed much on that end.

Thanks for posting the updated Siri shortcuts! I only use a few of them but much rather ask Siri on my watch than take the phone out of my pocket and deal with FordPass.
