Slow roll when releasing foot brake

I recently rented a Mach E that would start a slow roll from a stop sign or traffic light when I released the foot brake. My Mach E at home doesn't do this. I like the slow roll; is there a setting that will let this happen?

If you don't have 1-pedal drive or auto-hold turned on the car will 'creep' forward when you release the brake.

1 pedal = no roll

1 pedal off = roll unless you have the brake hold activated.

You need to make sure auto-hold is turned on. ??

It's on the Controls screen, where you switch drive modes, and yes, you want auto-hold OFF if you want the car to creep forward when letting your foot off the brake.

Gosh, the fact that you can stop without clamping on the brakes is one of the great thing about EVs. Using high foot pressure while you are stopped, in a hot climate like mine, will shorten the life of your rotors. I put my gas car in park, in fact, if I know I'm going to be waiting a while.
