I received a software update last night that was supposedly for blue cruise however this morning when I turned it on the radio was not tuned to a station and when I went to FM it only lists 87.9, 87.9-HD2, 87.9-HD3 in each square that should be different stations.

i called support, they had me reset with “vol down + ff” but it didn’t resolve it.

They told me I would need to take it to the dealer! ?

Did anybody else experience this?
Any suggestions to fix?

After updates sometimes car switches to AM station and one time took off some of the FM stations.
Just entered the stations back.
Lately haven't seen this on newer updates so maybe Ford fixed it.

Maybe Ford is attempting to broaden the stations you listen to? It's a feature, they just forgot to put it in their detailed release notes. ... At least that's what I tell myself.

The dealer is likely not going to be able to do anything about it. It used to be a very common occurrence for an OTA to overwrite one or more user preferences. It’s a lot less likely now but it’s still happening. Just do as @Homestead did and re-enter your stations. ??

I thought that 'feature' had been fixed. I have pictures of my stations on my phone so I can restore them quickly. Also, extra fun if you have multiple profiles and get to re-program it more than once.

Yes, OTAs sometimes nuke radio presets. I had a whole thread dedicated to it on the F150 forum because I had "automatic updates" turned off, and it was still happening. It turns out that toggle only disables optional OTAs and not all OTAs.

I had the same thing happen a few times. It usually just goes to an AM station with no reception. Once it wiped out all my pre set stations. I just put them back in and no problem. Everything works, I never went to the dealer.

After my first update the radio memory was wiped. I asked here and was told that sometimes happens. A little while later there was an update that was supposed to fix this and I have not had an issue since.

Maybe you missed this update?

manually tune your radio to the stations you want to save then press and hold on one of the presets and it will reprogram. would never think of taking the car to the dealer for something so easy to fix. this can happen with a firmware update if the update requires a reset of the infotainment system.

Thanks everyone! I’m embarrassed to admit I thought the radio wasn’t able to find any other stations! I’ve now learned I just had to “reprogram them”. I’m such a dope! ?.
Thanks again!

My issue is that I've lost the last row of presets. I used to have six rows...now only five. It's one thing to reprogram. It's another to have five presets wiped out. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? Thanks

The number of rows is adjustable in the radio settings.
