Some interesting differences between US Mach-E and Chinese Mach-E

3 things I like about the Chinese version:

1-No ugly usa oranje reflectors on the wheelhubs, which they normally take off for an European version, to bad they did not.
2-The GT badge on the side and the lack of the Mach-eX4 on the side.
3-I do like the het bumper (not the faux grille) on Chinese all’s

What I do not like? That they get all the good stuff? how long will it be for a parallel import for the front bumper “made in China”

Interestingly, the UK version still has the arch trim amber reflectors although non lit.

A few things from the European version that I would like to see in the US version are:
* Electric defrost in the windshield.
* official hitch option.

I love the center console inside. We'll see if AOSK invents something.

You can tell from the pictures that the Chinese version has significantly less knee room.

Ford probably decided to change the design for US/Euro markets that are much taller in stature on average. I'm 6' and my shin/knee hits the existing console.

I Have one car with Piano black trim, never again. It looks good for 5 minutes and then it has to be cleaned. If I understood correctly that there is less room in the front and more room in the rear seats that makes sense for china as many car owners are driven vs drivers. Been there got the T-shirt.

i think the room space is pretty much the same on the MME.
and i agree with the piano black trim, haha
and yeah, for many car manufacturers, they have some specific models specially made for China, especially BMW, Mercedes, and Audi, they usually come up with an "L" Model (long-wheelbase model), even for the Audi Q5 , they got something like Q5L

Does the CN model have a threaded insert in the bumper for the tow hook? Just wondering if the NA version is the only one that gets shafted in that department. ?‍?

The Chinese version does have 2 charge ports because the GB/T plug that they use over there is for DCFC only. One port for DC and one port for L2 (front and rear).

their wireless charger is better, it fits bigger phones. My Iphone 13pro max 'fits' but just barely, and move the wrong way the charging stops. I end up using the cable, it is far more reliable.
