Still no lighted pony replacement?

I have the original lighted pony from the kickstarter and like everyone else it died after a few months. Was super cool when it worked though. Supposedly EV Vida was going to sell them but I dont know what happened. I assume this is all over some cease and desist from Ford?

I found a website carledlogo.com that sells one but it appears generic and I dont think it would fit in the cutout for the mach-e like John's did. EDIT: the carledlogo one looks like crap at closer look, they used a stock photo of a Mach-e GT to make it look good.

When that Kickstarter came out, I corresponded back and forth with the creator. He was very naive' about licensing, and had unrealistic expectations - that Ford would license him to copy their trademarked pony.

I thought the product was neat, but realized that he wasn't going to be around to support it when it failed. The amount of failures is way more than I expected though.

Nobody is going to get that right, not EV Vida, not anyone.

Based on my email convos with Ev Vida, it sounded like they were sourcing their product from the kickstarter creator.

This is frigan awesome. I feel you 100%, i REALLY liked having the light up pony too. It just looks awesome.

I might try to do the same repair to mine, any chance you can give a bit of an instruction like what parts to buy? Thanks

I’m guessing they have a license since they make a rear lighted pony and a rear lighted GT emblem. I might be wrong though. ?‍?
