If you have your window sticker (https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=YOUR VIN) look near the bottom of the window sticker and in the Item # area you should see a 6 digit, hyphenated code. The 4 digits after the hyphen is your order number.

Hi! I have a production date of 8/30, a vin # but my 4 number order failed. I see your suggestion, but i don't have a window sticker yet apparently...any other workarounds?

None that I know of. Window stickers usually don't show up until around Thursday the week before your build week.

You can get your order number from your dealership if you wish to view the tracking information on your vehicle before your window sticker has been generated (which usually happens during the week prior to your production week, but on occasion occurs sooner). Nothing very interesting happens before that time anyway, but it is nice to be able to call it up on screen and see that it's in the system with all the expected information.

I don't want to make any updates to the form yet, but really wish Ford's trackers were consistent and could provided better information so I know what's going on. I'm in the same boat as others, initially the estimated delivery date was late August to early September, then changed to late October.

Well $#!+!! Since yours was built a couple of days ahead of mine I should expect my delivery date to change on or about Thurs.

I’m holding out hope that the October timeframe is some kind of placeholder or something, and it’ll get bumped back to a closer date. Fingers crossed for yours as well

You never know. Mine was built a 7-10 days before yours and @SeattleMachE 's, the estimated delivery date remained the same since it first appeared two weeks ago. But that doesn't mean anything unless my car magically appears in Kansas City within the next week.

On the upside, one of the other orders at my dealer with a mid-June build date was finally shipped on 7/31. However slow it might be, at least there is some movement again.

I can't figure out why I keep looking at this thread. All it does is drive me nuts. And all I keep seeing are the people with build dates that ordered after me. Including people with the same builds. @Ford Motor Company how about some news?

You gotta get on your dealer to push for allocation. As soon as I called my dealer about their allocation of the Mach-E my car was scheduled for production. Coincidence? Doubt it..

I really wonder if the few people having issues like this are having dealer allotment problems. Which dealer are you going through?

I think there's also just some "luck of the draw" happening e.g. I reserved my GT basically the second the order banks went live during the livestream in 2019 but some people still ended up a week or two ahead of me. I also think you're not really "behind" anyone else until they're like 2 weeks ahead of you but maybe you're past that already.

Well, this week is 14 weeks since I ordered, and still crickets. I emailed my dealer to request an update yesterday, and he replied that he would look into it. My order is with Herb Chambers Ford here in Massachusetts, where they have 2 Ford dealerships. You would think that they would have a decent allocation! We'll see if your theory pans out for me...(I hope so!)

I went with Ford Country in Henderson/Valley Auto Mall. Today's goal is to try to bust through and get through to the sales manager.
