I have a Red Premium Extended range as well on order. My order date was 2/22 and my initial build date was 7/4. I haven't had any updates., did you see your update on the Ford site. I am hoping to get an update soon.

Dumb question but I have an 8 digit order number, only takes 4 digits on the site.

If you have your window sticker (https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=YOUR VIN) look near the bottom of the window sticker and in the Item # area you should see a 6 digit, hyphenated code. The 4 digits after the hyphen is your order number.

Thank you and that worked. Still in production says 7/10. Looks like I have the same car, wonder why mine is just sitting there. This is getting very frustrating.

Yeah, the build/ship of orders has a number of factors that no one here truly has a view into. Dealer allocation, model, chip availability have all factored in getting our Mach-e's. The dealer we are working with told me 2-3 months when we initially ordered. It will be 6 months if I get it when the tracker says.

We also ordered the Red Premium Extended range on 2/19 with the same build date. We haven't heard anything and the dealer doesn't have any updates.

Ford Vehicle Tracker and Order Site have both moved my ETA back out again. Though supposedly built on July 16, ETA was first Aug 17, then moved to Oct 31, then to Sept 4, and now to Sept 22. Transit still shows as 38 days, but still no ship date or shipped status.
Order date for IB 4X was Feb 23, with production date on June 26. Guess they are still waiting for components with chips.

This process is so frustrating. While I am certainly glad that so many people are getting their build dates and info, I continue to sit and wait. Ordered on 5/21. Since order accepted there has been nothing. Dealership can't come up with any information at all. While it is all still in the predicted time frame so far, the frustration of seeing the build dates for the end of September (which would be 4 months after order) for so many orders placed after mine is brutal. Especially when you see the same color/model. The regional distribution sucks. If @Ford Motor Company is serious about moving more and more to online ordering instead of stocking dealers they have to do better with communication and distribute to people in a more equitable fashion based on orders.

If anyone knows how to get any better info from a dealer or from Ford, please share.

It’s because you ordered the ER model. Ford is having issues getting those batteries. Your production date should be assigned around the 3 month mark from order date.
