Just heard from Ford, my late May order for Premium AWD X is now going to be a 2022! both happy and sad. Happy that I can now get Grabber Blue, and sad since it will not probably make it here before the end of the year!

Same for me, I ordered June 23 and received email today saying it will be a 2022. Also invoice price changed, Although it seems they are giving credit to offset.

I just got the email from Ford saying my 2021 order from late June will now be a 2022. I changed the color from space white to iced blue silver metallic. Hopefully it will arrive in early 2022. I had really wanted it by the end of year. Oh well.

Deciding what I'll do with the 2021 CA Rt 1 Iconic Silver MMe being built this week. I figure I have until early November to decide to either release the order to my dealer, or take delivery and drive it for a year and trade it for the 2022 Premium.

finally got an update on my Grabber Blue GTPE

ordered on 4-28
supposed to have been built week of 8-9-21

was told verbally on the phone from Ford last month that I should expect it to reach my dealer on 10-4-21.

Now the website shows my car as built and shipped, but the arrival date is estimated from 11-4-21 to 11-10-21

Not sure how they lost a month, but whatever.

I'm VERY annoyed to be getting a 2021 vehicle in November of 2021. I am tempted to not follow through on buying the car. Im sure my dealer wont mind, as they could add a premium and sell it in 10 minutes. But even if I place an order now for a 2022 model, what are the odds that may or june rolls around and I STILL have no car?

So I guess I have no real choice but to accept it. It is rather frustrating though.......

Chip shortage is way worse than we thought..

I ordered my Premium 4ER MME on 5/13/21 in Iconic Silver. Last month, I was told that the Iconic Silvers are balanced out for 2021 and I could either wait for a 2022 or change my color. I decided to change colors and go with the Star White Tri-Coat, hoping that I would still get one late this year. Well, I just got the email from Ford saying that my vehicle will now be a 2022. Now, I don't think I can go back to the Iconic Silver as it is not offered in the 2022.

Ford did send a email offering a small discount on the 2022, but with the upcharge on the alternative color, I'm still paying more for waiting on the 2022. Definitely a bummer.

The wait continues....
