I don't love the company, but this is not meant to kick 'em when they're down! I think it's better if every manufacturer sells more electric cars, and I have benefited--as most of us have--from the build-out of the Supercharger network. Some decrease has to do with the loss of U.S. tax breaks, I'm sure, but not all, as they are down 9% for the entire year.

I had hoped this would be a better new year, and so far, it's proving to be that!

They were down in 2024, and now again in 2025. Not a good trend.

Well you deserve a trillion dollar pay day by, checks notes, doing everything possible to cause your brand to sell less cars.

Hell didn’t even bother to bribe for EV credits to expire for everyone but Tesla.

Got a sales pitch on the front lawn though. Doesn’t seem to be an effective strategy sales wise. But worked for the board members and shareholders to vote the pay package.

These results come at a time when there are no real alternatives. I hope the R2 is a smashing hit and the SOP & ramp up goes smoothly. That’ll surely double the decline.

No alternatives? China and now Europe has a huge selection of good cars to choose from that does not directly benefit Musk and his billion/trillion pay checks (I know, it’s stocks and not a direct payment, yet it is value given).

I live in the US. We don’t have that problem (or solution).

Market analysts following TSLA claim its value is in the future of its robotics products. We shall see….
BoA, ARK Invest, and others seem to value Telsa's cars/trucks and "robotaxi" businesses more highly than robotics. Either way, it's pretty funny. When one hypergrowth sector prematurely dries up, they all just pretend that new business lines -- that don't even exist yet -- will easily pick up the slack.

Yes, we shall see.

Interesting that FSD has not obviously lifted sales yet. Of course, it’s still in the sleeper hit state and the economy is still recovering

A few weeks ago when Ford discontinued F-150 Lightning, they went out of their way to reassure us that their EV plans in general, and Mach-E in particular, have a future. And it might even sound credible.

If I were a Tesla driver, I'd be concerned for the future value of my car. If Tesla has said they intend to exit the car business... Then they'll drop support for all their cars and walk away, the moment they can. Their big shareholders are counting on it.

Tesla drivers may be loyal to Elon, but I'm pretty sure I know how much loyalty he will show in return.

so you are keeping that shit? seems painful and counter intuituve to good gastrointestinal health!
You, of course, are correct in what you say if the phrase is taken in its literal sense but it should be obvious it was meant as an idiom😂
