Like I said. I have the Tesla app. Isn’t helpful unless you own a Tesla vehicle for this use case.
PlugShare will provide what you seek.

No worries. I’ve actually found a lot of Tesla destination chargers in Plugshare that Tesla doesn‘t list on their website. I guess the owners don‘t have to register them with Tesla if they don’t want to.
Super helpful. Adding the Tesla (required adapter) opens up a world of possibilities. I imagine owning an adapter would pay for itself pretty quickly.

They're expensive. So won't pay for themselves quickly, maybe eventually? Not about the cost for me; it's about peace of mind and not being stranded. Having options is a welcome hedge of bets.

This is true.

Too bad for those who don't register. If they did, they'd show up in the car's nav as well as the Tesla website.

I do not agree it is good charger etiquette to plug in and put a sign telling others they can unplug you. There are many situations when there is no way to use the charger if the car is sitting there. I guess you only use the "Necessity Charging" tag when there is room around you for other cars? How will you know there will be space next to you so someone else can use the plug? Maybe there is a situation where this can be used, but I think it should be more basic than that.

If you plug in and reach full charge, you MUST move your car. If you know you will be unable to move your car after it is fully charged, then do NOT use the charging space. Period.

I do like the printed etiquette violation notices, however. They are pretty good.

I will move my car at a hotel when it is charged enough, like the OP did. Just like any other charging space. A hotel is different in some way?

Where do you buy them? Sounds like a great idea to carry one with you. Thanks. ?

All those things will never work. Only when it costs money to park without charging people will make sure they won't do that.

Don't forget to buy a small padlock to help keep honest people honest. I have an 80A Tesla Tap too and it isn't cheap.

I bought and recommend the ABUS 64TI/25.

You’re right the cards might not make a difference but at least I would feel a little better .

Why would you say that when I previously posted that it is not reasonable to expect people to move their cars if the charge is done at 3 AM? I am just expecting people to be considerate of others.

In that situation I would move my car early in the morning, but not 4:10 AM. Or do what the OP did and use a slower charger knowing I am close to being done anyway.

How hard is it to be considerate of others, Rick? What happens when you need to charge and another car that is fully charged is occupying the charger you need? You think that is OK?
